decent passive humidifier but not sure if the air filter is doing anything
the main reason we purchased this device was for the stack on top humidifier, which works really great. paired with a hygrometer it easily raised the humidity level in our living room by 10% or more most days in the winter. it goes through alot of water which is not a problem for us; makes us feel like it is really working with the fan blowing through the filter pleats. however not sure how well the air filter part on the bottom is working. we have a dog that is constantly shedding hair and dander but the filter always looks spotless inside when we check it every month. the "dirty air sensor" has never gone red except when we are cooking lots of bacon in the kitchen.
