Stilton Cheese Powder (300 g) Easy Ingredient and Savory Topping

Not to diss-cheese this cheese. But, though the taste is good, you lose a lot of it when as it disappears into your pasta. Its a bit unusual, not like most cheese sauces which come in liquid form, as its powdered cheese and when it comes out the bottle its like cheese gratings! You have to dip into it with a spoon as the dispenser only gives out little spurts of it! In its favour you don't have to keep it in the fridge and can keep in a cupboard or similar.

Nice flavour but expensive for what it is have seen similar on other sites and much cheaper.

This is a decent product. It's subtle and not overpowering and the colour means it can blend in with other foods / sauces easily enough without being too obvious. It works with fresh food all the way down to generic freeze dried packet foods and the like, too.For example, I was able to add some of this to some milk and make a slurry, which I then added to some thicker cream along with some pepper, and made a "quick and dirty" stilton cheese sauce for my steak, and it worked perfectly well, pleased with the end result. I also added a tablespoon to some brocolli and cheese packet pasta I had lying around and it augmented the flavour well, making it much nicer than the generic bland taste the pasta sauce usually is.It's good stuff, I was even able to mix it into a chicken and leek pie to add a bit of thickness and consistency as well as a great complimentary flavour and it came out a treat.It's good to have on hand anyway, especially if you're lazy and don't feel like making stuff fresh from scratch all the time.

I got this product to put on our popcorn. I opened it up and tried to shake it on, but it kept clumping up. So I took the shaker lid off and used my fingers to sprinkle it on my popcorn. I had to put quite a bit on it to taste it; the flavour is quite subtle. I did taste it by itself and it was quite nice.

This item is just far too big for personal use.Short shelf life.Tastes good. Quite rich in taste.Easy enough to use. Ive made sause with it a few times and also mixed with mayo to make a dip

I was disappointed with this product. As much as I love these flavours I'm afraid this was not the nicest taste at all.

I am a cheese lover, so this product with its extensive shelf life is great ( not that it will stay on my shelf for very long ) I can use in almost everything.. Dust on tomato soup, great in lasagna or any pasta dish. My favourite on a simple salad. I will be getting the other cheese flavours, broccoli sprinkled with cheese... I could go on and on...
