I originally purchased this for a cross country move with 2 cats. It fit perfect in the back seat, and they both had plenty of room inside. I have since started using it for transporting foster kittens to and from the humane society and it is a great size (sometimes needs to accommodate 5+ kittens). We constantly get asked at the humane society where we purchased the carrier from.Pros:Great sizeEasy to clean - kittens have had accidents and it is an easy material to wipe upComes with a toy wand - My cats and foster kittens absolutely love this toy! After 3 years I am finally having to buy the first replacement feathers for this wandThe interior floor mat is reversible (one side is soft cloth, the other is the easily wipeable material), can be washed in the washing machine, and can be used outside of the carrierDurability - I have had this carrier for 3 years now, and it is still in great shapeFolds up - It conveniently folds up flat for easy storageSide flaps - It is so nice to have side flaps built in on the carrier. With a hard carrier, oftentimes I have to place a blanket over top to reduce a cat's anxiety, however with the built in flaps I can put them down or roll them up depending on the cat who is using it at the time and I don't have to bring a towel alongThe cats love playing in and around the carrier when I have it set upBecause the carrier is soft sided, I can fit it in tighter spaces easier by bending the top down or a side in, etc. Makes it easy to load into the car.ConsThe carrier doesn't always stay standing up, sometimes it tilts to the side so you may have to lean it against a wall.The wand comes in 2 pieces and the pieces easily come apart when using the wandThe floor of the carrier is not very sturdy, so the cats often sink to the middle when I am carrying the carrier, especially when there are multiple cats.Because of the size of the carrier, it can be a bit awkward to hold and carry.The Pros far outweigh the Cons for me and I would definitely buy this carrier again and recommend it!

I ordered this carrier a year ago, never had to use it until the other day. I came across a stray kitten near my apartment and spent all night trying to catch it. I finally got my hands on it and rushed it inside the cat carrier, which was tall enough to prevent the kitten from jumping out. The carrier expands upon taking it out of its case, so it was great that right when I needed it, it just pops open.First, on the quality of the carrier: it ended up making a great temporary home for the kitten. The photo here is of the kitten inside the carrier. I had to keep it in my apartment overnight until I could get it to the rescue center, and also had to keep it separate from my 2 adult cats. I set up the carrier in my bathroom and it gave the kitten this big, cavernous space to relax in. The canvas is solid and flexible, and the window flaps made it great to check on the kitten when I needed to, but to also close them and give the kitten some darkness and quiet. Overall the carrier itself is reliable, easy to move around, and flexible.Customer Service: I ended up bringing the kitten to the rescue center inside the carrier. Rather than taking it out of the carrier when I got there and stressing the kitten out all over again, I just let the rescue center keep the carrier. When I got home I emailed Pets Fit For Life through their website, asking if I could order a replacement carrier somewhere, but without all the accessories (litter box, travel bag, toys), because I still had all of those. They got back to me overnight and said this:"What a great gesture, donating the cat condo along with the rescue kitten. We do not sell the condo separately, however, we will send you a replacement because we appreciate your generosity and kindness in helping homeless kittens. Please provide your address and we will get it out to you."I find that so amazing for them to do. What great, good-spirited, helpful business practice. Next time I need a pet product that Pets Fit For Life may sell, I will definitely check their products before other companies, as I wish to support this specific business for their ethics.Thank you Pets Fit For Life

Worked great on our 12hr round trip, with 2 big Siberian cats (one cat was an angel but the other cat cried most of the time but that's not this product's fault). Thank goodness the zipper has a lock since my cats can undo the zipper when it wasn't locked! I love that it came with extras like the travel litter box, water bowl and the feather toy is very high quality. The only downside is there's only one side to unzip to put your pets in. I was hoping it zipped from up top also, which would have been way more convenient to place them in and out of the carrier. Oh, and the Velcro to hold the flaps up worked but they should have been placed long ways instead of the other way to be able to attach better. Maybe I put them up wrong? Overall, I would recommend this for travel since it's collapsible and comes with nice extras. It's great for 1 big pet or 2 small ones. It appeared to be scratch-proof also. Just improve it by allowing the top to be unzipped. For those who complained, it is NOT meant to carry your pets in, but rather to safely hold them in place while in your vehicle.
