They look fantastic and are pretty heavy duty without looking heavy duty.Gave 4 stars because the anchors they came with are trash! We could not, for the life of us, understand what went wrong with installation- but they never properly opened so the shelves were just falling off the wall. After we patched up the holes, repainted, and bought totally different anchors and screws, the shelves were finally up and secure and looking fantastic!

Did DIY custom shelves for over my PC and Microwave, patting myself on the back😎Brackets are perfect the quality and workmanship is outstanding! I did swap out the extra long screws that went into the wall for shorter ones, they were a bit too much.

The brackets themselves are fine. They are heavy duty and true to the image presented in the product description. The hardware has issues. First, the anchors provided are expansion anchors used for concrete walls. Only use them if you are mounting the shelf on a concrete backed wall. They will not anchor in drywall; so you'll need to pickup some real drywall anchors (use toggle bolts for this application) . Second the packaging QA person must have been sleeping when my brackets were packaged as they only included 6 smaller screws instead of 8.

The brackets look nice and are quite sturdy. I got them for making shelves around the room for the cats to run on. They would work for a shelf of books too. They're strong enough. The included screws, drywall inserts and level were not useful. The screws are okay. The drywall inserts are useless and difficult to remove when they fail to secure the screws. I wasn't able to get them to work at all. The level is cute but ultimately unused as a real level works much better.

Sturdy and looks nice. However the screws that came with the kit were too long for my application so i used something else. Also the wall anchor design looks really interesting but I didnt use it since it was mean to be used with the long screws that came with the kit.As for mounting/setting up. The notches where you can put the screws into the wall then put just add the brackets versus needing to hold the bracket in place while you fasten the screws wasnt too useful for me. I went with the hold-bracket-and-fasten-bracket method.Despite all that, the product is strong and well built, a four star for me!

These shelf brackets are amazing. I was going for a french art nouveau motif in my home, but all the other brackets that I liked from those high end stores like,,, Anthropology, Restoration Hardware, West Elm, all were way out of my budget. Found these,two sets for under twenty bucks. you can't beat that with a stick. I agree that the hardware included in the packaging is garbage, just go down to your local hardware store and pick up some legitimate anchors and screws.

The screws would not break through the end of the anchors. The tip of the screw reached the end of the anchor and just spun without going any deeper. I tried a power driver and that did not work either. I pressed as hard as I could and rather than the metal screw breaking through the end of the plastic anchor, the anchor broke the drywall and went into the wall. Very disappointing for such an expensive item.

I love the bracket itself. It is very sturdy and looks lovely. The hardware though is awful. Even with fully predrilling the holes these screws will just not go in the wall or even through the drywall anchors. Thankfully I had some better screws on hand and once I switched them the brackets went up much much easier. Since I had to replace the screws that take a little away from the value, but the brackets are nice enough that I don't mind.
