It worked like a "charm" for me. I was on night 4 of a return trip from Europe and had woken up at 3:00 a.m. the prior 3 nights. I took 1 capsule an hour or so before bedtime and slept through the night. I have tried other Melatonin brands and they have been hit or miss. Love the flavored capsules which are a trademark of Ritual products.

They did what they are supposed to. I use them for long-distance flights. This way I can slowly fall into sleep. Flavor is tiny bit chocolaty, and I hear chocolate is actually good for sleeping. However, this may vary per person.

Would not take again. It’s like a stimulant. I do have a sensitive system, but I’ve never taken melatonin that gives me more anxiety. This melatonin gave me severe heart palpitations and panic symptoms my whole body was shaking. I actually am not an anxious person, but this made my whole body active. I’m not exaggerating I was up for the whole night.

I really like Ritual as a company and their transparency around their products and the source of the materials they use. I have used a lot of natural based products as sleep aids with varying results. I typically do not like products with Valerian root and Melatonin because it will often help you sleep but in the morning you have a lingering groggy hangover feeling. What caught my eye with this product was the timed release technology. Melatonin works but as I mentioned I didn't like the after effects. The description explained how each capsule has 3 doses with different time releases (you can see the three balls in the clear capsule). One is for quick release to help you fall asleep, one with less strength is for the middle of the night to help keep you asleep and the last one with the slowest release and least amount of strength for the latter part of the night to taper off so you don't feel groggy when you wake up. I was blown away with this Sleep BioSeries Melatonin. It does everything it says. I take this to get solid sleep on nights when I need it the most. Increases the quality of sleep and has you waking up ready to tackle the next day. It also has a vanilla taste which makes it easy to take.

Neat concept in capsule. First delivery response - size to cost is slight shocking. The bottle is really small. Quantity is less than 30! Did not pay attention to that with 1st purchase. Previous reviews stated brand bottle size SMALL and cost HIGH. Still purchased because concept in capsule with 3 small immediate/mid/extended release for a FULL night sleep. Price point for quality of item - I like the design concept. Immediately opening you have a smell but not a taste. I guess thought is that you would relax when opening to take nightly dose but honestly I could do without smell unless the scent covers/overpowers smell that is unpleasant (like valerian root). I have bought this product several times simply because of concept of covering from immediate release to sustained. It works but at what cost - 💲 I have tried other brands with same concept but different form (layered pill). The cost is less. I never used those pills consistently but revert back to them. Cost less, quantity more and quality ~ effective So if cost fits with quantity and you like a scent (due to headaches I would rather no scent) => meet expectations; end result is there are still other ways to achieve effect with cost efficiency.
