Great product and really easy to use too
I love this. Got it for my 40th off the wife. I’ve watched videos online and read the books. I find this machine really easy to use and really user friendly, it’s pretty idiot proof. Been out in the woods and found stuff so I’m pretty chuffed.The cam lock works great and has an adjustment which allows me at 6 2 to walk and scan without having to bend over. The rain cover it comes with is good quality as are the headphones too. Really impressed.

A great around machine apart from the beach
Simple to set and settings stay when next used had cheaper and more expensive but won't part with 300i don't need to

The weight
This is a great machine, has all the bells and whistles. However I must stress the weight of this for beginners. I had before a very light almost a toy version which was OK to let me see if I liked the hobby. This machine is much more heavy and it's down to the heavy coil. I may have to buy a shoulder strap to support its weight. How the plastic cup is for your forearm it feels like that should be the other way around so the upper part of forearm sits in the cup and the velcro strap under. Just no support there with slim bare arms. Be different with a jacket on. Shame as great machine, not for kids

Good quality
Bought as a present for my husband for a new hobby. It arrived promptly, was easy to get going with it and has kept him busy for many happy hours. Perfect for what he wanted and looks like it will last for a good few years.

misleading regarding batteries
it states it doesn't require batteries, this is untrue it requires 4

Hours of fun!!
I bought this metal detector as abit of fun, we live on a farm and thought it would be fun to see what we could find! It was recommended on a you tube review of detectors and I must admit it is very good finds even the smallest bit of metal we have had hours of fun would recommend! i did buy this for myself but have actually given it to my wife it's very light and easy to put together and use!
