BEAR GRIP - Occlusion Training Bands

The media could not be loaded.  Brief intro: So I purchased these as part of my home gym roughly 6 months ago and I use them intermittently. Unfortunately my work means I don’t get to the gym as often as id like so, these ensure that when I do go my arms are worked out to maximum effect.The fit:The fit is very snug and comfortable. The one thing I did find is that as you tight, and then you have to be careful not to catch the skin under your arm. OUCH!The Velcro is extremely strong and there is little to no chance of the straps coming loose whilst being used. There is however the slightest bit of stretch, which is good and allows your biceps to function correctly, without being completely restrained.Build quality: For what they are, I was extremely surprised at the robustness of their build. The stitching is very well done and you can feel that they are made to last. The nylon also feels extremely tightly bound and these have had a few bumps and scrapes for the show, no signs of wear.The app: the app was a really nice touch, which I wasn’t expecting and hadn’t noticed prior to my purchase. It comes through the Amazon message board in your user area so it can be easy to overlook. The company were extremely supportive when I did contact them and they’re going to be in the right direction straight away. Excellent customer service in my opinion. The app essentially gives you a variety of workouts that use the grip in order to help support muscle growth in both biceps, triceps and lats and can be really useful for those getting started.Cons: As already mentioned when tightening the strap, you can accidentally catch the skin under your arm, which can be quite painful. This is very difficult to avoid. To be honest I think it’s more of an unavoidable byproduct.Summary: overall, I’ve been extremely impressed with the Bear Grips when used regularly, you can absolutely see results starting to show. However, I would not use them for every arm workout. I would only tend to use these once a week during one of my two a week or workouts. Your arms can feel quite sore afterwards for roughly 15mins as they recover. I have now purchased a few items from this seller and I continue to be impressed.

If you are hesitant then read up on them first and then go for these, my results from this particular product have been impressive and couldn’t be happier with the purchase. The media could not be loaded.  Many don’t fit which is eternally frustrating but these fit me even though I’m teeny in frame. Easily adjustable. Simple to use.Very sturdy. Solid.Does what they say, no faff.

Kind of frustrated as the sizing seems abit misleading, M did not fit me was too small didn’t even reach the other end. But I appreciate the quick delivery and message sent by seller. Thank you. I don’t know how to process returns on here as I have never had to before. But if it is easy I would appreciate someone letting me know how so I can get larger ones

Directed to these by my PT, getting similar pump and post workout ache from 6kg dbs as I would with 15kg in the gym. Certainly helping make the most of a limited weight set during Lockdown workout! Seems to be helping with width development too.Tricky at first to find the right tension, but very easily adjustable. Flap under metal ring to protect skin can dig in a bit, but once in use you don’t notice.Can’t comment on durability as only been using a number of weeks, but seem sound.Particularly like the Black & Yellow colourway as a bit of contrast, maybe Black & Red in the future?

I think it would be nice for this product to come with instructions as someone whose just started getting into fitness again at the gym at first I was a bit confused on how to use these, how tight to put them etc. From using them they seem okay although I don’t really feel much difference with using them vs not using them. They have fallen down a few times while I’ve been squatting with weights despite the fact I’ve got them tight. Think I’ll have to try to get use to them.

I ordered this product based on the reviews and the style, as I have tried the clamp version and found that getting the right tension on both arms is very awkward. I will be using these from tomorrow and hope that the metal part doesn't fail, as one reviewer pointed out. Thinking positive and looking forward to good results. Thanks Bear Grip
