I deal with all types of cars (new, used, demo, loaner, and body shop) all day. This item was something I saw others in my department using and I decided to try it out to see if my speed could increase on the cars I clean, and the only thing I can say is "HOLY #$%^" this thing is amazing. It has been a big help especially when dealing with pet hair and sand/dirt. If any car detailers are reading this trust me you definitely what this investment. It's so worth it. Just make sure you have a adapter for the end in case the ones in the box don't fit your hose that you use.

Worked great for about a week. Then started to have issues rotating. Three days ago, right around the month and a half mark, it completely stopped rotating. Took it apart and the weights have issues gliding around the rotating piece or they get stuck either at the rear or front of it. Came to get a return but past the return window. At the price, I'd be okay with getting a year out of it (though to be honest, I'd be happy with 2 years). But 2 months and no refund means 1 star for me. Too bad too, I genuinely like The Rag Company's products. This one, however, is a dud.I have a Tornador Max Black, but I don't use the liquid tub very often. I bought this to use instead for tight spaces, where the liquid container would make it difficult to fit into. And while yes, the price is dramatically different between the two (I paid $280 for the Tornador, and $43 for this after tax), the tornador not only is more reliable, but spins MUCH more reliably and with more force, and on top of that, it uses dramatically less air from the compressor. Almost half as much it feels like. Not recommending one thing over another, but at least if you're a professional detailer or on the fence with the two products, that might give some insight. The Max Black also has issues of it's own (I've replaced 3 siphon tubes at this point on it and they're about $12 a piece, having used it for about a year and a half). I try to take good care of my tools and keep up with maintenance and cleaning, but I also work very hard. I'd like my equipment to keep up with me and I don't think anything in this category do so far.

Best tool to use for car detailing carpet, Quality product with the metal interior piece not the cheap plastic straw thing like Tornador.

Does the job it is designed to do. The insides become dirty and prevent proper functions. Have to clean and lubricate but goes right back to good.

I've used all of these type of tools and this one is hands down the longest lasting. The inner nut that holds the whip on can come loose so take the cone off once in awhile and check that and your all good.

When I got this I was super excited. I had looked into the tornador but the price was a little steep so I decided to go with the ultra air blaster. It worked well for one detail and then the next time I pulled it out it would not spin. I took it apart tried cleaning it but still nothing so I ended up returning it. Not sure what happened but after some research I discovered I wasn’t the only one with this issue so I didn’t try another blaster.

This tool rules. I have a samoyed who sheds a lot and this makes cleaning my truck and SUV 1000x easier. I would highly recommend this tool!

Big fail. I found this comment on the web. "Some customers have reported that the Ultra Blaster breaks easily, with one reviewer stating that their unit stopped working after only one or two uses." I can say I beat that record. After 2 minutes the wand stopped spinning and is now a very expensive air gun. Like I said, look away and look for something better. Another comment on the web as well. "Another reviewer attempted to clean and lube the internal components to fix the issue of the inside wand not spinning, but was unsuccessful." I did not attempt this fix as I should not have to immediately fix a new product out of the box! Again and if you missed it earlier. Look away! Yes, I do have a large enough air compressor for the Ultra Blaster tool. I hardly ever write reviews, good or bad, but when a product is this much of a garbage product I must warn others of their possible outcome in purchasing this product. Ultra failure. Now, everyone, let's all say this together! Look Away!
