Glider Rocking Nursing Recliner Chair with footstool and brake system

Bought this when 8 months pregnant and assembled it myself. Delivery was prompt and I have to say I was impressed by the minimal packaging - I mean it was packed extremely well so there was a minimum of cardboard/packing to throw away.The instructions are obviously translated from another language and are not always very clear, though I figured out most of it! The chair is fairly easy to assemble though I had great trouble understanding how the brake worked as that bit of the instructions is definitely NOT clear. Got it in the end though had to ask someone else what they thought! The instructions claimed that the footstool was supplied 'fully assembled' which it most definitely wasn't - it was in eleven separate pieces! However it's straight forward to work out how to put it together with a bit of common sense (and you can always take it apart again if you do it wrong the first time). The cushions are well padded although the covers feel a bit cheap and nasty - haven't tried to wash them yet so can't comment on whether they'd shrink or not. At this price, however, I'm OK with chucking a throw rug over the chair to help make it feel a bit more luxurious!The gliding motion works a treat and is perfectly silent. The chair is extremely comfortable and I could quite happily go to sleep in it! All in all, I'm very pleased with the chair and footstool, especially given the very reasonable price - though it only gets four stars due to the a) unclear instructions b) lack of instructions for footstool and b) quality of cushion covers.

I bought this chair for my daughter who is pregnant as I thought it would be good for feeding, reading stories with baby but also pre birth to help her relax and relieve back pain in later pregnancy. I knew how good glider chairs are as I had one at my work although this was a more expensive model which is no longer available so I was wary about buying a cheaper version. i researched reviews of different models and came to the conclusion that the glider mechanism seemed to be the most important element and this chair seemed to fair well in comparison. Eventually I chose this one over the other cheaper models as it had washable covers and the option of a brake. The chair arrived very promptly and the chair was easy to assemble (glider part already fully assembled). The stool was a little trickier but with the help of my husband we managed. The covers are cheap looking but will be practical and I have put a throw over chair to make it look a bit more luxurious. What is more important is that it is comfortable and it works beautifully and smoothly with no squeaks. I used it before I gave it to my daughter for Xmas and we are both delighted with it. She now has it in the nursery and is enjoying using the different settings. This has been a good buy and I would certainly recommend it to others.

I am currently 7 months pregnant and I knew I wanted a glider with footstool for the nursery. I have found this one was perfect for me. It came in a hand full of pieces that need to be assembled but nothing super complicated. Was able to do this at 6 months pregnant so I think anyone could put it together. The delivery was a bit of a worry as there were posts that the chair wasn't packaged well however mine came securely wrapped and properly transported and didn't take must time before it arrived I think 3 days after I ordered it.I love how comfortable it is, my partner has had to wake me up a few nights as I have fallen asleep in it. The price was reasonable and more within my budget than previously seen other gliders. My only slight dislike is that it is suppose to have 7 back settings its not to clear which setting you are on but that can be learned.I would recommend this glider to anyone looking for an economical and comfortable chair for nursery or everyday use.

We have had this for more than a year although its mainly have been used to put the dry laundry waiting to be ironed. We have used it on and off and its quite comfortable. Wife bought it to breastfeed the little one but he likes to be fed in the bed so havent really used it for the purpose it was bought for. Its started to squeak after not too a heavy use but i am sure its only tightening of some nuts etc... overall a decent buy... just do not expect it to last for 5yrs+ uder heavy use but should last 3yrs ish under heavy use or more under lighter use.

Recliner chair and stool has been heavily used for the last 3 months and is still silent and in good working order. the woodwork is sturdy and strong and the fabric is decent. My only criticism is the package didn't come with instructions and was a bit of a nightmare to put together. Chair came in one box with all pieces carefully assembled.

The fabric is shockingly cheap and horrible. It ruins the look and feel of the chair. One of the main reasons I chose this glider was to be able to wash the covers. I'll end up now paying to have covers made anyway. Truly the cheapest fabric I've come across. The back of the chair is made for those 5'6 and under or your head has zero support when reclined.

Bought this chair for me to use when my son arrived. It is the best thing i have bought. I used it for breastfeeding and bedtime stories. Even slept in it when my son wasn't sleeping well and wanted to be with me. Almost 3yrs on and we use it every day. If you have the room for this chair its definitely worth the money and its very easy to put together.
