Excellent quality item. As others have noted, the leg pieces do tend to slide down so you need to spend some time adjusting these, before going out in them and finding them sliding down during usage. Impressed they’re metal rather than composite materials, such as on the jacket. Would definitely recommend to others

The bottom two straps need to be strapped just below the knee, otherwise the guards will keep sliding down as you move, which can be annoying. In other words, need to make sure the leg below the straps gets thicker so that they don't slide down

Incredible dangerous, fell apart within the first session. Metal parts can detach on fall, dent inwards, cut hazard. ! NOT SAFE TO USE !

The shin pads seem to keep falling down as I'm walking. It's really annoying!

Chiariamoci subito: a questo prezzo non possiamo di certo immaginare di portare a casa delle protezioni che ci salvano la vita (o meglio: gambe e braccia), ma sono utilissime per farci tornare tutti interi in caso di qualche evento sfortunato. Le ho comprate per me più di un annetto fa e questa estate mi hanno salvato il ginocchio da una brutta grattata quando sono scivolato dalla moto: c'era del brecciolino sparso in strada, mi trovavo su un tornante di una provinciale del Cilento a circa 45 chilometri orari. Mi è bastato toccare il freno anteriore per trovarmi immediatamente per terra: la gamba è finita sotto la moto ed ha fatto una strisciata di qualche metro, ma la protezione ha retto alla perfezione e non mi sono fatto niente. Gli strappi (che vanno tirati molto per lasciarli ben incollati al ginocchio) hanno retto bene all'attrito e non hanno spostato nulla. Le forme per giunta aderiscono bene e non danno fastidio sia a me, che sono alto 1.82mt sia per la mia ragazza, alta 1.74. Senz'altro in un incidente autostradale ad alta velocità - Dio me ne scampi! - sarebbero insufficienti. Ma per la passeggiata tranquilla fuori porta del weekend è senz'altro una protezione adeguata al costo che ci permette di tornare a casa tutti interi. E di questo periodo, più che mai, è fondamentale star bene. Prima di effettuare l'acquisto quindi è bene capire con precisione quali sono le proprie esigenze. Per il giro tranquillo o per fare la passeggiata estiva senza morire di caldo sono ideali, per cose più serie è meglio lasciar perdere. Ricordiamoci SEMPRE di acquistare anche dei buoni guanti per qualsiasi stagione.
