my neighbor had horses and a Flowtron in their barn for 20 years. I heard their Flowtron zapping flys constantly day and night for 20 years. When my family moved away that Flowtron was still working day and night so I bought 4 of these myself when they went on sale ( usually in Autumn ) I own 2 of the 1 acre units, and 2 of the 1.5 acre units and they all work great. I have them on smart plugs so they only come on after the sun goes down. You will need an extension cord as the cord is only 6-12 inches. For wall mounts the SB-300 bracket is affordable, sturdy, and nice looking.

I bought these because I needed them. They are easy to install, look good, durable and will most likely stand the test of time. All my needs are covered! Bug zapper is hanging there looking good and making sure I am not an insect treat due to these! Great product.

The best part of the design is that the outer curl has a closing clasp. It gets your bug zapper far enough from the wall so there's no contact. It does not stick out so far that it is in the way. Easy installation. Easy removal. Holds tightly to my well.

I did not use this product. It came with a big zapper that I bought but it is sturdy and well built with a nice powder coated finish

Easy to install . . . we use it on the front porch to zap mosquitos and gnats at the door.

If you don't have a bracket you might as well get this one it's easy to install just drill a pilot hole and run the screws in. It had a stove bolt to keep the bug zapper from coming off. Probably over priced and because it's probably made in china but I didn't have to go hunting around looking for something that might work. So just buy one and when you have your husband hang it if he complains just tell him you'll return it.
