I've been getting fancy with my cocktails, which includes adding a smoked element in some of the presentation and with some of the flavors as well. These chips have been doing great in lending their flavors to my cocktail hour. I prefer to smoke with a lower temperature, which seems to generate quite a lot of smoke with these chips. My favorite flavor so far is the orange peel chips.

Purchased as a gift for my boyfriend. He loves smoked drinks, and wanted to try them out at home. This kit comes with many different flavors and they are a great size to last him quite a while. He was very impressed/excited!

I've been trying out smoked cocktails recently, and while they come with chips, the wood selection is pretty basic. I got this to try out some additional scents. At first glance, it looked like a pretty basic set of chips, which was what I was looking for. When I opened up a couple of the items, it turned out to be better than I expected. The orange peels, cinnamon, cloves, and rosemary were pretty substantial in size, so I can use less of it at one time, and get the most out of each smoking.The smoking kit I was testing out alongside this set included apple wood. I immediately thought to add the cinnamon from this set with it and smoke it together for an apple-cinnamon combo. It made the room smell pretty nice, and turned out pretty well in the cocktail. It wasn't quite the same as real apples and cinnamon, but the apple wood worked pretty well with the cinnamon.The spices are substantial enough that they seem to be useful for cooking if desired. I'm sticking with them for smoking, though.I think this is a pretty nice set of wood chips and spices. If you're needed to replenish your supply of wood, or want to expand your options, this is a pretty nice kit, and I recommend it.

Last Christmas, my husband was gifted a wood smoking set with torch and lid. Once he ran out of the chips, he really didn't want another set with another torch, he liked the one he has. Therefore, this was a great chip replacement set, but better!This time, we were able to try flavors we hadn't tried before with our whiskey on the rocks, like rosemary and apple... they were delicious!! Additionally, you can really taste the flavor in these chips, a lot more than the previous set he had. Our favorites are cinnamon and clove... they're highly potent and really, truly add an amazing flavor to our drinks. They burn very nice and level, no quick burn as you might get from other versions.Highly recommend for those that like that smoky flavor in your drink, or for a loved one!
