I like the color variety. The tension is a bit clunky perhaps because of the paint coating. Not sure. But it doesn’t have the snappy feeling. Not practical for daily use. Fun for fairs. We used it with hair tinsel. The kids enjoyed them.

These hair pins have worked out great perfect they hold up buns perfectly. I bought the silver color because I have silver hair. So they blend in perfectly. They hold great without pinching and our lightweight. My hair is medium density and these are super comfortable. They keep your hair in place all day.

Finding this size of Bobby pin is impossible in the stores. They’re sturdy and holds well with my fine hair! The color black blends in perfectly!

Originally bought these for my niece and there were so many I kept a few for myself. It’s brought a weird amount of joy having colorful pins in my hair instead of the plain brown ones I’ve used for years. They’re solid little pins too, they don’t bend out of shape easily and don’t pull out your hair. I’m buying more (for myself) and probably some of the colorful elastics too. Just because I’m older doesn’t mean everything needs to be boring!

I underestimated the practical length. I have long thick hair but not thick enough. About 1/4 to 1/2 inch too long for me. Might not be an issue with other head shapes or with curly hair. There is a problem with flexibility . It’s a tight hold and narrow width. Hard to open and the tines slip away from each other so they cross over each other and make it hard to position the clip. Once placed it’s a tight hold so you can’t slide the hair in. The pins are beautiful to look at, in or outside the box. The gold color is striking. Pretty, shiny but not gaudy. An artist or home decorator might make use of them in their work. Packaging is excellent.
