Will this work for pest sprays?  The 2000 costs more than this but is designed for pest sprays.

Hi, you can use pest sprays in the Chapin 20075 1 Gallon Bleach and Disinfectant Sprayer. We would not recommend mixing other chemicals in the sprayer and  make sure that you clean the sprayer out after each use. The 20075 and 20000 are the same design with different seals making the 20075 compatible with bleach. Will 91% rubbing alcohol melt any of the parts? Need to spray an apartment with it.

Yes, you can spray rubbing alcohol in this sprayer.  If the outside temperature is over 70 degrees the alcohol may compromise the seals which is why we recommend to clean your sprayer thoroughly between uses following the chemical manufacturer’s instructions.  It is also important not to store the chemical in the sprayer when you are not using it. Can it be used for an acid stain?

Hi, we do not recommend the 20075 Bleach and Disinfectant Poly Sprayer for use with Acid Stain as it will degrade the seals rapidly. We do offer hand pump sprayers specifically designed for use with acid stain such as model # 22230XP and model # 22240XP.
