Updated December 15, 2023: The Telesin Magnetic Mount Metal Extension Magic Arm comes in a boxed kit that is easy to assemble. While, I already have a magnet that is rated up to 100 MPG I wanted a secondary one which is why I purchased this kit. I bought this from Amazon and got it in one day!The magnetic (which is smaller than I thought it would be) itself sticks to your car without any problems however, it is a little wobbly and you can easily move it or remove it with just one hand. I would NOT feel comfortable using this while driving.I'm not even comfortable using it with my Gopro attached to it while driving.While it sucks that the magnet is wobbly there are some positives about this kit and What I really like about it is how easily you can adjust it. It's way more adjustable than your normal ballhead is and unlike your normal ballhead you can easily rotate in all directions without any hinderance. So I definitely give them Kudos for designing it like this. I just wish the magnet was stronger. I should also note that I did detect the magnet did slide slightly when I had it attached at steep angles on my car. But it is possible it could have been because it was windy out and honestly this kit doesn't weigh much. I hope the company ready this review because if they can strengthen the magnet it would make this kit a must have purchase.Summary: If you are someone like me who uses multiple devices to take photo at the same time then s this is a very good back up kit to have. I can't emphasis enough how I would not use it while driving. The magnet simply isn't strong enough to securely hold your device. At best it might slide around and at worse it could fall off. I would not risk your smart phone, Gopro or similar device.

I have an old rusty truck that I drive around and put in parades. The reaction to this truck is awesome so I wanted to start recording some of them. I bought the mount and it really worked. I can leave the camera mounted and drive at any speed and it holds.

I use it on my car and it is super strong.

Smaller than in the picture. This magnet won't stay on a moving car which is why I wanted it. No use for me.
