I took this on holiday to somewhere pretty hot. It was just what I wanted. Whether it gave UV protection or not, as claimed, I don’t know but I hope it did. It fitted well, looked smart, kept me cool, was light and packed up small and did not seem to crease much. Good purchase.

I bought this several months ago and really liked the lightweight fabric and how quickly it dries. However, after wearing it on a few safaris, I noticed that contact with velcro and slightly rough surfaces common in typical safari jeeps causes the fabric to snag and develop pulls in those areas.This isn’t a fault of the shirt—it’s more about the nature of the surfaces encountered. That said, I wish the fabric were more resistant to such damage.For those heading on a safari, especially if not opting for super-luxury vehicles, it’s worth being extra cautious about the surfaces to keep your clothes in good condition.
