Very ingenious mechanism, good height, seems sturdy and stable when erected, very easy to open and close. Handle folds open to for the seat, the seat is fine but it is a bit cumbersome as a cane handle. Note that you cannot cut down the stick to suit a shorter user, so check specification for length.

Very well made and smart looking. Easy and quick to extend the feet/legs and sturdy. My 110 kg perches safely and comfortably onto the more than adequate fold out seat. Have used multiple times when out and am constantly asked where I purchased from.

I don't normally give reviews and despite what I read on some reviews it does what it said on Amazon. It is not heavy, weighing 850 Grams. To operate in Shooting stick mode 5 seconds. To convert to a tripod seat less than 15 seconds, same to to revert to a walkings stick.Next day delivery in a substantial box and described as multi - function crutch./portable cane with seat. Full pictorial instruction on the outside of the box. I cannot comment on durability but it seem well made. I weight 88 kgs. Cannot understand any of the 1& 2 star reviews. Now I'm approaching eighty I need to sit more often when out walking. This stick is very light weight but when opened it feels safe to sit on.

I bought this for my Dad who is 86years old. Dad has found that he now needs to have a little rest sometimes when we're out and about walking around and has often resorted to propping himself down on the edge of a counter or box when in a shop, so I did a little reading up about what helpful gadgets there are available. Having done my research I chose this seated walking stick and I'm glad I did.The size is just right and Dad can sit quite easily on it, now Dad's not a small chap, and weights about 17stone so I was pleased to see that the seat was sturdy under him. He is really pleased with it and found it easy to open and fold up, he particularly likes the fact that when it's folded up it just looks like a normal walking stick.My Dad's happy, so I'm happy!

Seating is too low and not enough information on how much weight it can carry. Somewhat unstable and inconvenient for seating without much assistance. Too expensive for purpose.

I've never used a walking stick before and was self conscious about getting one but I'm glad I got this . I was going to the Yorkshire wildlife park which Ive been to before and I struggled in the past because it's an average walk of 3 hrs to go round. But using this took a lot of strain of my legs plus the park doesn't have much seating when it's busy and this was ideal because I could sit where I wanted and it's really easy to put up and down. I was worried that it might not take my weight with me being 18st but it handled my derrière very well.

I was a little disappointed with the article. It appears on first viewing to be a little weak around the joints of the folding legs. The item was bought as a present so it has yet to be tested fully and my initial impression may well be wrong.
