I gave it a test before using it and I'm glad I did. I put in a paper towel, sealed it and soaked it in water for about 20 min and came to find a small leak on the edge towards the opening. Not a lot of water, or very concerning that I would use it with no hesitation. I do think the seal could be tighter all around.

I almost feel like I wasted my money...

This is not my first time to buy the product from Kingwood. I will take a vacation on beach in a couple of days so i bought this waterproof case. I put my Samsung S8 plus into the case under the water for 10 minutes. Much to my satisfaction, it is amazing I can use my phone without any obstacles. there is no leak when taking out my phone from the case. I would definitely keep supporting Kingwood!

Perfect for a beach trip. We removed our phones from the cases to use this product, but had no issues texting and taking pictures while in this case. I was still able to take phone calls also! Affordable and kept all of the pesky sand out of our new phones. We never submerged the phones or got them wet so I cannot review the waterproof aspect of this case.

I tried to use these cases for my iPhone X (and now 11 Pro) to take some pictures/videos while snorkeling. Unfortunately the pouch tends to fog up quite a bit. Also the quality of pictures taken through the case tends to be a bit hazy (similar to having a lens with fingerprints on it, etc.). It does the waterproofing part decently well - no complaints there. But it's hard to actually use the phone once it's in there - and the touchscreen is often activated from the humidity build-up and the plastic touching the screen.

These are way better than the seawag. I payed $20 for the seawag to use on my iPhone 7.. useless. Can’t open my home screen when my iPhone is inside the seawag. With this product, everything works perfect. I placed my phone inside the bag and submerged it on water. Even works under water.

You can also use the touch screen while kayaking. The ease of pulling the phone in and out is a bit clunky. I have an iPhone 6S and it fits comfortably. My husband has a bigger phone and he can still fit it.
