This is a good size screen, BUT it is impossible to read it at any angle unless you are above it. I bought it to replace a much smaller temperature meter. This would sit above my computer screen on a desk shelf. The screen is blank. If you push the button to light it up, it is still blank. For some reason my cell camera can see some faint data on it. You can’t see any of that looking at it. So in the pics, the faint data showing is only seen by the camera, not the eye. When looking from above, the data is clear and dark black text with no faint marks around them.I tried moving it to a new spot at about eye level on my desk. You cannot read the screen if it is at that level either.You have to be looking at it from above. At about a 15-20 deg angle from above it is clear. Anything below that, the data is invisible. The ad states:“The large LCD digital display can clearly display a variety of data. There are four unique color sticker areas at the bottom of the screen, allowing you to record the corresponding detection location, make it clear at a glance. “It omits that you have to be standing above it looking down to see it. The pics in the ad showing it on a night stand are a lie. Looking directly at it on a level surface it is still invisible. It can only work if looking from a step angle from above.The Automatic atomic clock, weather, and calendar function do not work. I have to assume it is where I’m at as my cell phone gets 2-3 bars reception. This unit has never connected to anything to get the data. So the weather info is worthless. You can manually set the time/date/weather inhg.The button for making it light up doesn’t work quite right. The logo for light is on the left side of the long button. If you press it there, nothing happens. If you press the button on the other side that shows “snz” for the alarm snooze, then it lights up.I have not tried the alarm as I don’t need it so I don’t know if it works. The manual refers to a “radio” so I would assume because it never connects to any signal that it will not work either. I don’t know of any way to boost the signal strength so with it not receiving any signal, all those functions are worthless.The remote units screens are very small. There is no way to see the data unless you are inches away from them. That’s not a big deal as I would use the main unit to see the temps. The remotes screens do not light up so that adds to making them hard to see.The temps are within 1 deg of each other when I tested them out. I placed all the remote units together next to the main unit and they were close to each other. I then put them in different areas.I do like the fact it takes regular AA batteries. I was looking specifically for units that do. I have rechargeable AA’s so I prefer using them instead of having to get the CR type batteries other units need.I do notice the remote units do flash the red light randomly. That’s not an issue for me, but others might not like the random blinks when its dark in the room. You could tape over the small red light if that was an issue.The remotes have a wide bottom lip on the case so hanging on a nail causes it to be tipped. You have to use a screw/nail and have it extended out from the wall for the remotes to sit level. I believe the wide bottom lip might be for having them sit on a surface without hanging so they don’t fall over. Just have a wall screw stick out about an inch or so and they will hang fine.The main unit cannot be hung. It has legs on it, that tilt the screen back. That adds to problem seeing the screen. So viewing from a level position, or anything below level makes the screen invisible. The legs would need to be much longer to tip the screen forward to be able to read it in a level position. If that happened, the screen would then fall over as the angel would too far forward to be stable.So for me, it is not worth the price. Not having reception makes the functions not work. Having the screen needing to be viewed from above makes me have to stand up to see it. Pressing the light button doesn’t help if looking head on so anytime you want to see the temp or humidity, I would have to stand up from the computer to see it. Others might have space on their desks to have this so it is well below eye level. Then it would probably be seen fine. I don’t have space to put it like that so it is not a good replacement for me.I do like the size of the data. The temp/humidity numbers are about 0.44in (11.2mm) tall. The clock numbers are the largest at 0.85in (21.7mm) tall.I have to give only 2 stars because of not being able to see it in any position I need (like my last unit could be seen at) and not having any signal connection for the auto data inputs.

Multiple sensors show Heat & humidity in multiple locations at the same time.

I decided to get one of these multi-area weather stations since temperature and humidity vary greatly on each floor of my house and I'm always wondering what the weather is like outside. This device allows me to monitor all floors plus outside from my desk. The base has a very easy to read display and can ever be read in low light without the backlight. I like this one in particular because it has a display on the receiving units so temperature and humidity can be read when you are near it. Each receiver can be placed on the table or wall but because the base protrudes so far, it does not mount firmly to the wall. It's enough to keep it in place but you need to provide your own wall screw. I find it is easier to read when wall mounted. I don't write on the permanent station labels adhered to the monitoring base, in case I want to change station positions later, but I can remember the stations by number and color code. You want to make sure that each of the three stations has a radio signal display just to the right of the station number to make sure it is monitoring. When you first set it up it seems to read the temperature about 1-2 degrees higher and the humidity level a little lower but becomes more accurate with a little time. It should set the date and time automatically and synchronize automatically every hour but that, the weather symbol, and barometric pressure can be set manually. I am not sure why you would want to manually set anything other than date and time though. DST function does not appear to work as I had to manually reset the time. You need to disable the automatic sync to manually adjust any settings so make sure that you set it back to automatic after you have made manual settings. This is all explained in the manual. It supposedly has a battery low indicator but this is not mentioned in the manual.

I needed a remote sensor that I could put inside my pump house to warn of pipe-freezing temps. The distance is approximately 100 ft and passes through 2 walls with no problems. The remote sensor also let's me know the temperature difference between inside the pump house and outside air temperature using the 2nd sensor outside. I primarily heat with wood and the 3rd remote sensor is in our bedroom away for the heater. This one let's me know if I need to turn on a fan to move some warm air back there. The base station monitors our living room and the 3 remote sensors. So it is really a 4-zone station. The screen is large and bright (when you press the approximately 5 sec temporary backlight) and easy to read, as long as you are not below it looking up... but why would you do that? I can see why other brands might be negatively reviewed for small screens.At first i thought the readings were incorrect. I would have a 4-5 deg difference from my central heat thermostat while in the same room. After a little experimenting, moving the base station to several places in the room and getting slight variation differences from the central heat thermostat, I sat the base unit directly on top of the wall-mounted thermostat and after equalizing.... the readings were within 1 deg of each other. This Weather Station is plenty accurate enough for home use. It was surprising that 2 ft of elevation or being near an interior vs exterior wall can alter a specific spot's temperature.Each remote sensor has a digital readout window showing the temperature. It is small, but a nice touch that some other systems don't have.Overall, I am glad I got it and would recommend to others.Oh... and it has date and time on the base station with auto time sync and can be set to change between SDT & DST automatically... and has a alarm.

Unsere alte Wetterstation hat nach Jahren ihren Geist aufgeben. Bei der Suche nach Ersatz haben wir uns für diese entschieden.Aufgrund der kompakten Größe, guten Lesbarkeit und Anzahl der Thermostate für uns perfekt.

Wetterstation funktioniert einwandfrei.Siehe Fotos mit Licht und ohne Licht.Ich habe es mit einem Kugelschreiber selbst beschriftet. Einen zusätzlichen Beschriftungsstreifen als Reserve wäre wünschenswert gewesen. War leider nicht dabei. Ansonsten Top!

Fazit: Sehr gute Wetterstation mit kleinen Abstrichen.Nachtrag 08.09.2022: Ein Sensor der Wetterstation ist mir aus 40cm Höhe auf den Kellerboden gefallen. Aussen sieht man keine Beschädigungen aber seitdem wird eine falsche Feuchtigkeit gemessen. Für diese Empflindlichkeit ziehe ich einen Stern ab, verbleiben drei Sterne.= EinleitungUnser Keller ist eher feucht und ein Hygrometer musste her. Es gibt Einzelgeräte, wegen des Lüftens im Sommer kam ich aber schnell auf eine Wetterstation, welche die Temperatur und die Luftfeuchtigkeit an meheren Stellen im Haus messen und übersichtlich anzeigen kann. Die Bewertungen hier sind etwas durchwachsen, von daher war ich gespannt, was ich da bekommen würde.= (Funktions-)UmfangDie Wetterstation wird mit Basisstation und drei Sensoren geliefert. Batterien sind nicht dabei. Die drei Sensoren messen Lufttemperatur und Luftfeuchtigkeit und zeigen diese beiden Werte im Display an.Das Display der Basisstation zeigt die genaue Uhrzeit (Funkuhr), Temperator und Luftfeuchtigkeit an der Basisstation sowie die Werte der Sensoren sowie den Luftdruck und eine Wettervorhersage an. Die Wettervorhersage (Sonne, bewölkt, Regen) beruht allein auf dem Luftdruck und ist dadurch nicht sonderlich zuverlässig und aus meiner Sicht keine echte Wettervorhersage. Die Aufteilung des Displays ist ausgewogen; die Uhrzeit wird mit angenehm großer Schrift angezeigt.= Einrichtung: Kopplung der drei SensorenLaut Benutzerhandbuch sollten sich die drei Sensoren nach einlegen der Batterien (bzw. Akkus) automatisch koppeln; bei mir klappte das aber nicht. Mit wenigen Tastendrücken entsprechend der beigefügten Anleitung lies sich das Problem aber schnell lösen und alle drei Sensoren waren gekoppelt.= FunkreichweiteGespannt war ich, ob die Funkreichweite in unserem Reihenendhaus über drei Stockwerke ausreichen würde. Und ja, sie reicht. Die Wetterstation steht dabei bei uns im Erdgeschoss und die Sensoren sind auf Aussenbereich, Keller und Dachgeschoss verteilt. Der Empfang klappt zuverlässig und problemlos.= Einsatz von Akkus, BatteriedauerDie Wetterstation funktioniert auch mit Akkus problemlos. Für die Wetterstation und die Sensoren werden je Gerät 2 AA-Akkus benötigt; es werden also insgesamt 8 AA-Akkus bzw. Batterien benötigt (nicht im Lieferumfang). Die Wetterstation habe ich neu, ich werde schreiben, wenn sich die Sensoren oder die Wetterstation wegen leerer Akkus meldet.= GenauigkeitDie von der Wetterstation gemessene Luftfeuchtigkeit und die der Sensoren stimmten bei mir bis auf 2-3 Prozent überein. Bei der Temperatur liegen zwischen der Wetterstation und den Sensoren 1-2 Grad, das finde ich etwas viel. Die Sensoren zeigen dabei allesamt bis auf wenige Zehntel Grad die gleiche Temperatur an.= Wetterstation: AblesbarkeitIn manchen Rezensionen wird die schlechte Ablesbarkeit des LCD-Displays der Wetterstation moniert. Ich habe mit der Lesbarkeit nur in manchen Situation ein wenig ein Problem; und schaut man auf das Display von etwas von unterhalb oder stärker von der Seite, dann leidet der Kontrast des LCD-Displays deutlich. Die Wetterstation steht bei uns aber auf einer Kommode und sowohl beim Sitzen als auch im Stehen liest man von oben ab, von daher kein Problem. Durch Tastendruck kann man eine Hintergrundbeleuchtung aktivieren was schön aussieht; dann ist das Display auch im Dunkeln gut ablesbar. Eine Taste zu Drücken finde ich aber umständlich - es wäre schön, wenn man die Wetterstation über ein Netzteil ans Stromnetz anschließen könnte und dann die Beleuchtung dauerhaft einstellen könnte.= Ablesbarkeit der SensorenDas Display zur Anzeige der Temperatur und der Luftfeuchtigkeit ist winzig und ausserdem ist es etwas zurückgesetzt. Man muss also schon ziemlich genau und von vorne hinsehen, um da etwas zu erkennen. Da hätte ich mir ein größere Anzeige gewünscht.= ZusammenfassungZur Anzeige der Luftfeuchtigkeit und der Temperatur eignet sich die Wetterstation gut bis sehr gut. Durch die etwas abweichende Genauigkeit bei der Temperaturmessung und den kleinen Displays bei den Sensoren gibt es einen Stern Abzug. Bleiben 4 Sterne und eine Empfehlung von mir.
