Not quick dry! Still sticky 10 hours later.
This paint is not 'quick drying' even on a hot, sunny day. It is still sticky hours later. It should have been touch dry within 2-3 hours. Nope! However, the paint is fairly opaque and therefore gives good coverage. (I didn't thin it). I applied to a rough concrete floor, using a brush, and a little went a long way, even though it looked like a thick coat. I will do a second coat tomorrow (grr! As everything has had to be moved out into the garden and rest of house for the night) but I could get away with not doing it, if I didn't want to.I also used the paint on external masonry windowsills today, and an external wooden one. No problems. There are quite strong fumes and the paint is very runny and drippy, so be careful of that. It is not water-based and cannot be washed off!Have white spirit to hand for clean ups and cleaning brushes, and for thinning paint (if you want to, for first coat). The paint is gloss and very shiny.I bought 5 litre tin. I have about 3.5 litres left, after one coat of a 12 msq and the external masonry bits.Other than the long drying time my only other criticism of this product is that is doesn't come with any information about application or cleaning, like you would on a normal tin of paint. I had to search for the basics on the Amazon advert. They need to make drying time and time between coats more obvious.

Not quick drying.
Painted a thin coat this morning at 9am. TWO garage doors wide open all day to air out. It has now been over 8 hours and it is not touch dry as the instructions say "Touch Dry within 2-3 Hours"Not very happy with that, at all.Update:I've noticed that despite my garage doors being opened the air was not circulating and there was still a strong smell of paint in the air, which could explain the incredibly lengthy dry time. There was in fact no wind the day I painted the garage. I set up a circulation fan to cycle out the air for fresh air. The floor dried in no time after that and was ready for the second coat the next day. I did the same thing after the second coat and it took 4-5 hours to touch dry. So, anyone having problems with dry times, it may be because off poor air circulation. Hope this helps.I've changed my rating to 4 star.

Looks good, smells high VOC, is this dangerous?
Looks nice on the garage floor, which was just cement originally. Did one thick coat with a roller, went down well but had to roll over each area about 5 mins after applying to pop the little air bubbles coming out from the cement as it absorbed the paint.I got a headache using the paint, it's very strong smelling, didn't notice any high VOC warning on the tin but it's probably there. Really whiffs but has calmed down a bit after leaving garage open for a couple of days.Works fine if you're not intending breathing much while painting or not using the area for a while till the fumes dissipate. In case you wondered, dust masks have no impact on fumes, I wore an N25 filter mask but nothing was going to stop those fumes. I also rolled up some toilet paper and stuffed it into my nostrils, but it just made it hard to breathe.Verdict? Great paint but probably getting cancer now.

Good packaging,; good application properties; and good opacity.
The paint arrived securely packaged in a novel wrapper to reduce the chance of damage in transit.I used it straight from the tin on an old garage floor which had been cleaned, prepared, and sealed with a suitable polyurethane-alkyd sealer to ensure compatibility with this top coat. I have applied two coats using a paint pad, and it went on easily and evenly. Opacity is very good - I used two coats for expected better long term durability,The first coat dried quickly and I could recoat safely within 24 hrs. No doubt helped by warm weather at present. I have used only 2.5 litres on my standard sized garage floor. To those who question coverage can I just advise that coverage rate is a calculated figure derived from specific gravity of the paint and the expected film thickness. It's a standard way of reporting coverage. Actual results will depend on many factors including the condition of the substrate. [I am a retired paint chemist - no connection with TA paints].The overall durability of the coating and its ability to withstand being used as a garage floor paint remain to be seen over time, but personal experience with this type of coating suggest it should wear well.

Excellent Floor Paint - Easy to apply
This is probably the 4th time I have painted the garage floor, the TA Paint (BC Paint) is the best paint I have used. I first repaired the imperfections in the floor with Car Body Filler (UPOL Easy 1) then gave it a light sand with 80 grade sand paper. I decided to put the paint on with a roller, after reading the application guide it suggested thinning the first coat with 10% of white spirt (T001), I found the paint to be quite thin so I did not thin the first coat, it went on very well, after leaving 24hrs a second coat was applied. The paint was good for light foot traffic in 24hrs but it was clear it had not fully cured. I left it for a further 7 days by which time the odours had also stopped. During application the solvents in the paint created a very aggressive atmosphere. Coverage the area I have to cover was 18m2, a 5 litre tin was sufficient for 2 coats with about 0.5 litre spare. Colour - I used Goosewing grey - nice and light to reflect ambient light. Well I will now see how it wears, initial impression is Excellent.
