Eager to get into heat press I decided to start with mugs. I must admit I had no idea what I was getting into. After receiving the item I began to understand different inks and paper needed to make a good mug. The mug in photo was the result of several failed attempts using an inkjet printer and regular paper. After doing research I decided I did not want to turn my Epson printer into a sublimation printer just yet so I purchased dtv paper with powder and got a decent press on my sublimation mug. The unit was easy to see up and understand how to use. The mug was curved and it still placed a good image with legible small letters. I would recommend purchasing a wider heat tape which will make the image press down easier on the mug. I also tried a ceramic mug and got a decent press and glass which stuck well but the picture was dull and due to the color settings and ink used. I would recommend the unit for beginners and advanced crafters however please note that I don't have any comparisons to this unit. I can say it was easy and came with gloves, sublimation paper and heat tape which are good to have

This works very well and the price is perfect. I have made over 30 tumblers and it has been consistent in heat distribution. I turn the tumblers over and heat press it twice as I watched on a video and the ink has never bleed through the paper. It comes with gloves. The timer beeps when it’s up and it has easy size variation. It heats up really quickly. I love the auto turn off feature. As I have young kids and I would hate to forget to turn it off. Its compact size fits great in the corner of my art table. Im very pleased with this product and highly recommend it for beginners or small business owners.

Works well, does have a burning smell only used a few times assuming that will go away.

This is easy to use just for my personal use.

The way the heat sleeve is setup, it's impossible to get any pressure on the sides of a coffee mug. There is always an air gap in both sides no matter how you adjust the knobs or change the pressure.Save your money and get a better unit.
