Body Glove Wetsuit

These have kept my feet from getting rubbed raw while bodyboarding. For years I suffered from channels gouged in my ankles from fins, even though I wear fin socks and change fins/brands often. Someone suggested I try these, and it has really helped. I wear them under my fin socks, and I think it is the smoothness that eliminates the friction. Not sure how long they'll last, but with fresh water rinse after each session, I expect a year or so at least, as they are will stitched.

Great for scuba and as a base layer in winter under thick socks.

These socks seem very well-made. I wear size 12 in at least 90% of all my footwear from various brands, so I'm pretty sure what my "true" size is. Ordered these both in size 12 and 11- just in case and based on other reviews stating these run large. Indeed, size 12 turned out about half a size longer than my foot. Size 11, on the other hand, fit very well length-wise, but was overall too tight, especially in the crease between the ankle and the top of the foot. It felt too constricting and uncomfortable and would probably mess with the blood circulation when worn for some length of time. So I ended up returning size 11 and just kept the 12 even know they're a bit too long. I don't understand why BodyGlove think there should be so much difference in the girth going up/down just one size (from 11 to 12) and in any case, do people with longer feet necessarily have fatter/thicker feet and ankles ? Makes no sense... In retrospect, I've had a Super Rover wetsuit top by Bodyglove years ago, and the sizing on that was completely whacked too- I generally would wear M or L and that wetsuit was extremely tight even in XL ! So it would seem, Bodyglove needs to get their sizing in order.
