First of all, these little pieces of plastic are so flimsy. Of the 4 they send you, count on 2 of them not even working right out of the box. Secondly, because of the fragile nature, you can’t rely on them to stay “closed” on mobile devices such as phones, tablets, laptops or anything that will be moved around even the slightest. I often found the cover had opened on its own to my frustration. Yes there is a “click” upon closing, but it’s meaningless. I had this on my phone no more than 3 days before the cover came flying off and couldn’t be snapped back on. Not only that, but when I pulled the base off, it yanked a part of my screen protector right off. Also, this doesn’t fit properly on an iPhone 6s to begin with. Part of it covers the speaker, part of it sticks out. This was literally a waste of money.This *might* only work for a desktop screen that you barely touch or hardly ever need use the cam, but still comes with issues above. You might as well just get a sticker.So disappointing as I did a fair amount of research on the variety available on Amazon and was lured by the “click sound” this product had. False advertising and just junk. Avoid these for any mobile devices!

This works, but it is easily bumped open. Was expecting it to have a notch or a catch to keep the slider from moving unless intentionally opened or closed. It does not have a "snapped" position for opened or closed.Also wish there were a brightly colored ring that shows when it is in the open position. The slide slot is exposed when the camera opening is covered. This makes me doubt whether it is covering the camera or not. Will probably silver-sharpie the camera side so it is more obvious when it is open, but I don't need yet one more thing to remember, so this goes in the "needs improvement" column.

The cleaning clothes were dry, a couple of the sliders broke apart but put back together (a click?). And when they give you extra stickies that fit the one that may come loose (sticky faceplate replacement stickers) and because they are so small...you will never be able to use those extra stickies, I have serious worries these will not stand up. I’m seriously disappointed.

These are flatter and stickier than another product I’ve used. The slider that reveals/hides the camera is also more effective with the little grip on it. Just make sure you put it on as straight as as possible. It’ll drive you crazy if it looks crooked, especially if you’re OC. Needless to say, I’m satisfied with this product and wouldn’t need to try another.

Much nicer than tape over the little lense eye, I have these on my : laptop, Amazon Echo Show & my tablet. Fit perfectly, easy to place and they cover that "all-seeing eyeball". I got white so I could see if they were open (the devices are all black plastic).

Only one of the two covers were able to attache to a laptop because the adhesive on the back wasn't strong enough on the second one. I only needed one but it would have been ice to have one as a backup. The packets come with a complimentary cleaning pack (one wet and one dry) to clean the area before attaching. Overall though it's a good product that gets the job done.

Easy to apply, looks good, hardly notice it's on my laptops. Better alternative to using tape if you ever want to use your webcam and not have to worry about sticky residue on the camera lens. Recommended!

it does what it is supposed to do, but only for those few minutes when it stays stuck on the device. The slightest friction against something takes off the piece and it cannot be put back again. I lost two pieces in less than a week.
