Design is so bad that any kid above 3 can easily hit his head on wood while entering on bed. Side ways no kids preferred mostly due to space of room. I wish I had thought about it before ordering this. Over all this is simple wood frame and it also hurts if your kid is active and move around all night. He/she might hit his led or head or hand on those edges (and they hurts).

As you can imagine, this bed comes in about 1,000 pieces and is a pain in the butt to assemble. I would describe this bed as flimsy at best; one of the side panels bust out less than 2 months in. The drawers are fixed to nothing and will slide under the bed with no stop. My boys smashed their fingers on several occasions. Don't even get me started on how impossible it is to change the sheets. And after all of that, this bed completely bust down the middle less than 2 years after purchase. This bed was slept in by a 3 and 5 year old, so not exactly heavyweight champions. I obviously am out of the return window and out of luck, but learn from me and do NOT purchase this bed!

My boys (4 & almost 2) love this house bed. It was pretty simple to put together, but does absolutely require 2 people and a little bit of patience and time. They love sleeping next to each other but still having their own bed. The bed does take up a big chunk of the room as it’s essentially a little larger than what a king size bed would be, so keep that in mind. But we are happy with our purchase and its exactly what we needed for this stage with little ones (floor bed so they can safely play together on it and be close to each other for sleep)

Minor warping/holes not lining up 100% correctly but extremely sturdy, very cute and very perfect for my girls. Easy fixes by holding the boards in position with a little force. A growing family in a small bedroom yet fits nicely in the room. Good size for smaller spaces that require no bunkbeds due to the youngest being only a year old and my children don’t understand gravity.
