UPDATE 11/1/19. So, a sag in the middle did develop. Unfortunately, at least two of the bulbs started to intermittently not work because the sag resulted in a poor connection on the ends. I could tell because if I pushed up in the middle, the bulbs would go on. I went ahead and bought the clips. They are easy to install. You need to drill pilot holes into the housing and attach the clips with sheet metal screws. I added two clips for each light towards the middle section as shown in the second photo. The process of adding a total of 8 clips for the 4 bulbs took about 30 mins and it solved the problem with sagging and losing the electrical connection. I still love these lights. But, they should be sold with the clips and some sheet metal screws and directions pointing out that the sag can cause lost electrical connection. Surely the company is aware of this. One star deduction because they are silent about the problem and don’t include clips.Also, one of 4 tubes stopped illuminating on one side (half). Company was responsive and sent me a replacement.******Original Review 8/24/19:Very happy with purchase. I have two very old 8 foot fluorescent tube light fixtures in my garage. We have been having problems with them for years simply because the ballasts have been going out and I have been lazy about addressing it. I read reviews and instructions on how to rewire to a duel end powered set of LEDs like these. It was so simple and the result is incredible. Our garage is very well lit now.I was a little concerned from some other reviews about these lights being too bright. That is absolutely not the case. My garage is approximately 20’ x 20’ and these LED bulbs illuminate the garage perfectly.I have not noticed a problem with sagging as they fit into the tombstone ends snuggly. If sagging develops, I think I can come up with a simple effective solution. I would not let that be a concern to dissuade you from buying these. I highly recommend getting rid of the old-school fluorescent tubes and going with these. You might want to watch a couple YouTube videos on how to rewire. Just make sure you understand that these 8 foot lights are “single pin”, which means you just re-wire by eliminating the ballast and having your lead wiring (black) at one end and the neutral (white) at the other end. The wiring from the old ballast system may have some different colored wires, but if you follow directions on the packaging and/or watch a YouTube video and apply some commonsense, you will see that the direct duel-ended power retrofit is quite easy. The result will be awesome.

Super bright lights for my application. As you will see in other reviews and forums, expect to bypass the ballasts. Fortunately enough depending on where you are you can get good money for the ballasts, 8ft fluorescent light fixtures are phasing out. Once you get that done you install these and the buzzing goes away and its at least 10 times brighter. Worth the money, will see how long they last.One thing i noticed was you can hear thr LED strip moving around inside the tube during install, not very assuring when it comes to durability. Can also see the weight of the tube cause it to bow slightly, nothing noticeable but they are a little flimsy.

These lights were easy to install and very bright. These lights only project from one side so if they are too bright I roll them to a side making the light less direct. Wonderful buy

Swapped out our fluorescent lights for these LED tubes. Ad says raited for 50,000+ hours of life. Not so sure there, as this is the second light tube to half fail.They work well when on, and do increase lighting to good useable levels. Home garage/shop use, nothing fancy here.Thought they would last longer than they have...

LED saves money and works great!

Bulbs are heavier on supposed top of bulb and will eventually roll over in their sockets from 60 hz electric frequency. Thus the light shines into bulb holder toward the ceiling and not into the room. 2 of the 4 bulbs failed after a year of use.

Twice as bright as my old fluorescent lights they have a slight blue tint to them.

These things worked very well for me. After removing all of the old ballasts and direct wiring these in, I had MORE light than with the old configuration of 2 fluorescent tubes and ballasts. Saves money on the electrical end and lasts much longer.

Update: July 2021 After about a year in use half the tubes are burnt out or half burned out. Not living up to the advertised lifespan !I bought these for use in my shop to replace fluorescent tubes. They are super bright and although the light is somewhat directional, by rotating each tube to cover a slightly different area I have 100% coverage. I got the frosted ones.Also, as I only have the heat on when I am working there, the lights come on 100% bright even when the temperature is -20C.Hoping they get more in stock so I can replace the other half in my shop !
