Easy installation and good product.
I did the installation myself. Wahoo! Not bad for a 62 year old woman. 😆 Clear instructions, very easy. Good product made with quality materials.

IT WORKS
WORKED AS REPLACEMENT FOR SAME. ORIGINAL, DEAD BOLT SIEZED, KEY WOULDN’T ENTER CYLINDER. PERHAPS SPEAKS TO LONGEVITY ISSUE.

Seems to be good Quality
The plate on the latch was bent in shipping, probably not the sellers problem. It was easy to straighten with a hammer and anvil (drive way). Other than that I am completely satisfied with the lock. It fit exactly like the original and seams to be very high quality. I did used a little dry lube on it before I installed it. I used the lube in the locks also, after lubing the locks, the keys seemed to slide in and out easier. Have not been on a camping trip yet but everything seems to be as it should.

Sturdy/strong lock!
4 of of 5 stars because it was not as easy to install as I thought it was. The product is definitely more for a replacement of an RV or camper door lock. I didn't have on on my enclosed trailer, I installed this and it works great but it took 2 hours to install and was a pain. I would definitely buy again just because the security and sturdiness this product offers. Definitrlt peace of mind considering I have 30k worth of materials in my trailer.

Knowing what you need ahead of time
Since I was working on a vintage travel trailer I knew I was going to have to customize the door latch. This one was easy for me to adapt and adjust to my needs. Well made works great and looks good

Flimsy, flimsy keys!!
Changed the lock out yesterday before we left. Everything worked great. Parked in new RV spot and opened up to set up. Lock working great. Get ready to leave for dinner and it was kinda sticky. Pull out the graphite lube and work the latch a few times. Works great. Come back from dinner and the key is so flimsy it snaps off in the lock. Fortunately we were able to access the hatches and get a pair of pliers. Twist what’s left of the key in the lock and get in the camper. Grab one of the extra keys sent with this item and praying it doesn’t happen again. The lock itself is fine. The keys?? Weak! Flimsy! I’ll put the old lock back on.

Eaisy to install looks great
easy to install looks and works great so far, its been in for about 2 weeks. Note there are no instructions ( that help ) you have to be mechanically minded to remove the old one, I went on you tube to get some help although they were not that helpful , but showed the general idea and then you can take it from there.
