Most people don't seem to have an issue with the original gasket going bad. Mine started leaking and falling off after 12 uses. I waited until it drove me nuts before ordering these, and once I started using one of them, its been over a dozen uses and no issues... still fits and doesnt fall off, seals perfectly... i will probably loose the other 2 before I need them.

I was worried before buy, because I have a pressure cooker from different company with completely different pressure lid design. But looks like instant pot is kinda standard and rubbers fit and work perfectly! So if you have different from Instant Pot pressure cooker, maybe you can use these rubbers too! Just measure your rubber and check!

I was having trouble getting the smell out of the one that came with the Instant Pot, but now that I have multiples, I don't have to worry about smells/tastes leaching into foods I don't want them in. I just switch out the color for the right sweet/savory smell/taste I need.

I use each of the colored sealers for different things I make in my instant pot. Works really well. One for yogurt, one for refried beans and one for everything else.

They have held up and I throw them on the top rack of the dishwasher, after hand washing them, and they don’t hold the scent of the foods as much.

Bought as extras so I can make deserts with main coarse smells. Fits well. I bought different colors so I wouldn't mix them up.
