Good-ish but it's closer to $70-80 quality not $120.The head is really nice and smooth. As smooth as most higher dollar heads I've used, perhaps a little better than some. The legs are good metal and solid under normal load. The rest however is just decent. Far from what I would rely in for anything serious.The knobs and all tightening points are cheap light plastic that aren't going to survive any real travel abuse or even much serious use. The "drag" controls for the head are like pockets in women's jeans, just for looks. They don't really provide a range of tension. It's basically a 1/1000 of a turn from loose to locked.I think the point that really drives home the true level of quality is the mounting plate. It's awesome that it is a full size plate but the manufacture tolerances are poor. It sticks making it fiddly to get in and out, the screw slot is slightly wide so the screw gets wedged a lot, the locking knob is, again, cheap and has to be unscrewed several turns to get the plate out, and I would not trust the locking pin to keep a gerbil in it's cage.If you need a smooth head for cheap to get started in video, this is a good option if you baby it. But if you're looking for a travel tripod to do actual travel, or you're going to be mounting your livelihood on this I would not recommend it. This is not a tripod that makes you feel secure.

I no longer have to check a bag when traveling! I have two of these and they are pretty good overall. The only hitch in the giddy-up is that the buttons to release the legs can be a little sticky and tough to get free.I shoot live press conferences and these are great for that.They fit in my standard carry-on bag and that is an absolute lifesaver. I give 5 stars for that alone.The heads are pretty smooth and they are incredibly compact.

I needed something light for travel but with a fluid head. This tripod is actually pretty amazing. For only $119 you can't go wrong. I've purchased tripod for twice as much that aren't anywhere near as smooth as this one.

I was having issues with the head thread. Seems like it's a matter a time until it gives out. I kept twisting it back on but it continue to loosen when i pan each time. The twist to lock on the legs can be annoying.

The head of the tripod wouldn't lock at all. Also the tilt head would lock but you could still kind of move it. If you're deciding between this and a manfrotto, just buy the manfrotto.

動画用三脚と雲台(フルード)は初めて購入しました。主な用途は飛行機撮影です。使用カメラは sony a7s、panasonic gx-8 といったコンパクトなものです。<三脚>折りたたむとコンパクトで、足先はねじを回すだけで金属爪、ゴムを切り替え可能です。<雲台>静止画用とは違い、雲台が滑らかに動くのがよいですね。動き出しや途中でガタツキは感じません。水平方向(azimuth)、垂直方向(elevation)の動きの硬さ(ぬめり)は、個別のつまみで簡単に調整出き、水平さえしっかり出せれば、レバーを使い滑らかな動きで対象を画面内に捉え続けられました。数回使用した印象ですが、水平方向の動き出しは滑らかですが、垂直方向の動き出しが「カクン」となってしまいます。(多分、自分が不慣れなだけだと思います。)クイックシューに付属するカメラ固定用の ねじ にはつまみがついていないため、カメラの着脱にはコインが必要です。少し不便を感じたため、つまみ付きのねじを購入して交換して使用しています。性能を追求すれば、更に良いものがあるのだと思います。しかし、動画初心者の自分には、十分な機能の性能でした。まずはこちらで修行したいと思います。

手軽に持ち運べる小型のフィールドスコープ用に購入しました。写真撮影用にはマンフロットとスリックの三脚を使っていますが、今回初めてフィールドスコープ用に低価格な当商品を購入してみました。結論から言うと値段相応かなと感じます。軽量4段伸縮の脚は携帯製に優れていますが、脚の出し入れにスムーズさが欠けます。小型のフルード雲台は前後バランスを正確に取れれば何とかスムーズに動いてくれます。勿論、ジンバル雲台のようにはいかないのは当然ですが、慣れればそこそこ使えます。あと当然ですが、エレベーターを使うなら底部のフックに重いウェイトを付けないと微風でも振動しますので、軽量三脚のメリットを失いますね。レバーで締め込んで固定して使うハンドルは角度を自由に変更できて使いやすいですが緩むとガタが出るのと収納時に無理な力がかかり耐久性に不安を感じます。一番最初に破損しそうなのがハンドルです。その他、付属のケースに収納するのが大変苦労します。三脚の脚を逆向きにたたんで収納するようですが、あと少し上手く入りません。少し大きめのバッグなら楽に収納できるのにと残念でした。

この三脚を買ったのは２回目です。最初は2018年12月、今回は2021年5月です。今回、型番を間違えて注文したかと思いましたが、注文履歴には購入回数2回となっています。全体的に見たら、星三つぐらいかもしれませんが、否定的な変更がなされており、注意喚起の為に星一つにしました。写真を添付しましたので、現在の製品の写真と見比べてください。添付写真の雲台部分は2018年に購入したものです。添付写真の方には付いている赤いボタンのようなもが現在の製品にはありません。カメラとレンズが最悪でも外れないようにするストッパーです。現在の製品には無いのです。これだと、プレートを固定するネジを開放にして使っているとプレートが、つまりカメラとレンズが落ちる心配があります。実は、以前、この三脚ではありませんが、ストッパー機能が無いものを使っていて落としてしまい、カメラもレンズも修理に出した苦い経験があります。修理費はこの製品の値段の数倍必要でした。という事で、カメラ固定用のネジを締め忘れることが時々はある、という方は用心してください。さて、今回購入した理由は、古い方のエレベーターを固定するネジが動かなくなった、というものでした。エレベーターでの高さ調節が出来ません。２年半ぐらいで壊れましたが、使用頻度はほぼ毎日でしたし、この程度の三脚には重すぎるサンヨンを乗せての使いっぱなしでしたので、値段の安さもあり、まあそんなものだろうと思っています。現在の物は、以前に失敗したトラウマもあり、私はこの雲台では使えないと思いました。幸い、新旧二つともエレベーターごと雲台部分を外せました。新しい三脚に古い雲台とエレベーターを付けて使おうとしています。少なくとも、以前のタイプのものなら、気にいっていました。

大陸製品は、故障しやすく2-3年で3度買い替えたが「このタイプ」は使用感もいい。
