I discovered bringing about 16 years ago while on a vacation with my wife at the time. We were in a store that sold high end foods and food products. I didn't want to spend time in this over priced food stuff store. But I was, looking around and noticed a discount rack. So I found an item that was a brine mix that was over 60 dollars originally. Now being sold for around the four dollar mark. It was favored for the holidays. So I purchased it after reading the benefits of most,favorable wonderful smells and outstanding taste. No idea that people did this. I mean how much money would people spend on having such a brid like that for Thanksgiving or Christmas time dinner. If it tastes and looks half as good as advertised I was looking at a well spent 4 dollars, that made me feel so good about going into that store in the middle of the summer just because my wife was the most important person in my life. So I fallow the directions for this summer time turkey rost we had and my awesome bride of 25 years just never said a word about it she volunteered not to help me. But honestly I was in bringing mode all day long and couldn't wait to taste this Christmas turkey dinner in July. It turns out that all of the turkey dinner's we served and the worry we went through, all the different tricks and styles in different parts of the country, especially the deep frying of a Savanah turkey, witch also was and still is amazing. Just check out brine and don't be afraid to make your own brine flavors. YouTube has a million different styles and flavors that people will love nothing more than to share them with you and yours. !!! Great product

Worked as promised. Bags are HUGE. I purchased a 14lb bird and there was plenty of room to add another bird to the bag. I didn't experience any leaking as I zipped it closed and rolled the top down and placed it in a beer cooler to keep cold for 3 days. Would recommend. It does state not the packaging not to reuse the bags. So I did throw it away after the use. However, wondering if anyone has washed and reused them?

Who doesn't love to experiment with different cooking techniques.  I know I do so when I saw these brining bags I decided to try it out.   Note while I did receive the product for free, I do have to pay income taxes on the full value of it.   My review is based solely on the product itself, nothing more.These bags seem very sturdy and well-made.  These bags are  nice and big and made to fit a large turkey and your brining liquid. The bottoms allow it to sit flat.  They include a nice sealing mechanism to prevent leaking. Overall these are effective brining bags

My husband used these to brine our Thanksgiving turkey in. Worked well and held up great!
