My boys absolutely love this brand
My boys absolutely love this brand. Chuck (Malt/Shz) is 18 lbs and Harley (Pom) is 4 lbs and when the package arrived my boys must have smelled it cause they instantly started going nuts, even though, I couldn't smell a thing. Harley is super picky and will turn his nose up at a lot of treats.... but not these! I know there are a lot of brands out there that have a strong smell but these didn't.....there is a hint of odor but nothing overpowering. Since my pom is only 4 lbs he can't chew on it so his big brother Chuck helps him out by chewing the top of the bully stick for about 5 min and then Harley will take over. Chuck then gets his own stick which he has no problems with. I also like that it's made here, I will not buy any dog toys or treats that have been made in China and I make their dog food so I'm very cautious of what I give them. These sticks are going to last me a long time because of the size of my dogs. This is a fantastic brand and I highly recommend it.

Gone in 60 seconds
I was really excited for these bully sticks and find a healthy alternative to rawhide. At almost $3 a stick I wasn’t expecting these tiny sticks. They lasted less than 10 min with my puppy and she’s only 26lbs! Maybe these would be good for a small dog but not busy active puppies. Not worth the money for the size. Will not be ordering more

Om nom nom
My girl got sooo many treats for Christmas. She got smelly fish treats, marrow bones, two Barkboxs filled with lots of treats... she ditched everything for one of these bully sticks. I will say that they smell terrible to me, not an 'ugh I'm going to vomit if I don't get away from that smell' but at the very least an 'oh, wow! That's...bleg. I love you but don't you want to eat that by yourself far, far away?'. We had previously bought no odor bully sticks and they smelled like absolutely nothing; however, they weren't as exciting to chew and were much pricier. We're already on our second bag of Sancho and Lola's bully sticks and this is what we'll continue buying!! Two paws up and major tail wags.Harley is a soft coated wheaten terrier (26 lb). She is not a 'chewer'. She will sit and work on a bully stick until it's finished, it takes her about an hour. It does give her loose stool so she only gets them every other week or so.

Made my dog trow up tonight!
On top of being very expensive, I watched my dog with this today. He did enjoy it. Unfortunately, a little while after he got done chewing up a good bit of it, he threw up in bed. He is now resting and is very lethargic. I will watch him closely to see if any further symptoms develop. He eats other treats from Amazon without problem. Expensive or not, I don't expect to have to clean up from a dog throwing up a product that is supposed to be fun. He is almost 2 years old and does not have this problem with other treats or bones I buy here on Amazon. I would recommend not buying these at all.

I purchased these because they seemed to be pretty equal in thickness but I got the majority of mine very thin :( sigh. I guess I didn’t get fortunate with this product like some of the other people I saw photo’s in the reviews. Will not be purchasing again unless somehow seller sees this and can make right and I’ll update review with outcome and how product comes back.

EDIT: super stinky
Edit 2: My dog won't chew on these anymore (still on the stinky bag). Chewed 1 and 2/3 sticks out of the bag. No interest anymore.EDIT: My last bag really stinks BAD. As soon as I opened it the smell was so strong. I have bought quite a few bags and never had much odor at all. I don't think I will be buying anymore of these. Going to have to find something else for my dog.My yorkiepoo didn't touch this for a week. I figured I wasted my money so I cut into the end to expose the middle. She then tore into it and chewed about 3/4's of it before quitting (tired jaw?). The next morning she finished it offupdate: She loves these. The next day of finishing a stick, she now looks to see if one is at her treat spot . I gave her one and she was tossing it up in the air to play with it also. I am buying another bag.

Good bully sticks, thick, made by a caring company
This is my first purchase of any kind of Bully stick. I wanted something safe and made in USA and this company has a great story as well being a GSP lover/rescuers.I love the fact that these are made from grass fed beef. The bag upon opening stinks pretty bad ( it reminded me of a dog that popped an anal gland) but it doesn't smell up the house or the dog during/after eating so I am going to assume this is a good thing. Plus my dogs go nuts for these! The sticks are much thicker than a pencil that is certain.maybe like 2-3 pencils bunched together. However my negative gripes which are specific to me are the price (which seems to be in line with other bully sticks) correlating to the fact that my 2 dogs--Golden Retriever and a German Wirehair can literally chew the whole stick in 2 mins flat. They do love the sticks and I like them as a treat by this wonderful company, I was just hoping for a longer lasting satisfying chew. I will most likely continue to buy these on occasion but price wise to how quickly they get devoured is a problem for me. I also received a wonderful follow up email from this company asking if i had any problems or questions. I emailed them back my questions on the nature of the smell and they quickly and very thoroughly responded to me. I was told these should have a smell but should never leave an offensive odor in your house or carpet etc. I was also told they will be making other larger sizes and braids so that is what my large dogs probably need to have them last longer. Very satisfied with the company and service!
