Rattlesnake Eggs

First saw this in America 40 years ago. The reactions from my family have been hilarious. It causes grown men to literally jump 6 fat away from envelope in fear. Try to record reactions😂💜

I didn't think this packaging would fool anyone including a 6 year old, but I did think it would be one of those fun cute memory items to throw in my wives stocking at Christmas. However, apparently the packaging was too good, because I sent it to my mothers address so it would be there for me to gift at christmas and she unfortunately opened the box and thought it was REAL. She thought someone was harrassing her for some crazy reason and reading the packaging she stored them in the fridge for a week before taking them to the dump for fear they would hatch. Then after going to the dump she is afraid she may have just caused a rattlesnake invasion of the town and has to call them to let them know what she has done. All before realizing that it was actually a funny gift and not something that should fool a 65 year old woman, but hey the story was funny and apparently the packaging is believable even though I never got to see the item I ordered since dear old mom threw them out.

I use to love having these as a kid. Glad to see them back! Nice quality, works perfectly. Gets folks everytime! Careful about using this on someone with a heart condition. People can't help but jump.

I just bought these as a gag stocking stuffer for my son. They didn't even work one time. We threw them away.

Hahaha. These rattle snake eggs are amazing. Very easy to use. I got all my family to use it and each and everyone screamed with they opened it up. Very funny!!! Very funny gag for pranksters. Makes everyone scared. Even my father who does not get scared easily got so scared he screamed and drop it on the floor!!! Very Cool. It could have gotten better if the paper doesn't gets flexible after a while. This makes the rattle snakes go off by itself sometimes.

The packaging is far different than the product shown in the picture. That pictured here is how I remember it as a child - manila envelope with a plain picture of a rattle sneak head with small warning. That which I received is in a larger white paper envelope with much more flamboyant pictures. It is of far better quality, for sure, but it feels too busy. There are warnings, descriptions of what a rattlesnake looks like and where it's found,how many eggs are in the pouch total, etc.I probably would have rated this product higher if the envelope wasn't so large and flimsy. The one we had when I was a kid was manila, a bit more durable than this paper one. Plus, the "eggs" fit into it more snugly. This feels as if they can "hatch" at any second, so there's little pressure on them.So in conclusion, it looks different, whether you like the simplicity of the old or this flashy new kind is debatable on its quality (eye of the beholder and whatnot), the envelope is bigger than it needs to be yet less durable, but the gag works.
