Have to say, this is the best home security system i had. This is over a year i had this system and no problems whatsoever, the motion detectors are really sensitive, dont know if its a good or bad thing. The app was very straight foward to install however in android, the system recognises it as malware, still awaiting feedback from the company regarding this issue. This was using an S8+ then a 10+.

I knew I was in trouble when I thought not everything had been sent only to find out the stuff is so small it all fit in a little box. Never the less I pushed on. I downloaded the App Smart Security System. Read the reviews for the app if you are considering purchasing this item first. It will let you know what you are in for. You can also search youtube for the Konlen instructional videos to see how helpful they are. Never the less the instructions were written in poor English and not easily deciphered to any resemblance of sense. In the end I could not get the thing to connect to the home wifi. The house is almost entirely automated so it is not that I am incapable. One of the FAQ's was that their customer service and trouble shooting was so bad and their reply was no its not. To be honest I did not even try, it had become painfully clear that I chose to go cheap this time and got what I paid for, a non functioning security system. Packed it up and sent it back for a refund. Wish I had checked the app and youtube videos first, I would never have purchased.

This is the best security on the market and great price. I use SIM card not WiFi. Once the alarm is trigger we get a text right away.

What type of message is pushed to the phone app once the alarm is triggered? Does the message notify the phone that the alarm has been triggered? The only message I have seen in the phone app are messages in the log or status of the alarm but I have to manually open the phone app to check message. Does a message automatically notify the phone app that the alarm has been triggered?

Very handy and affordable alarm system. Very easy to set up and contains many nice features. The suite also contains many component pieces and I really like the remote control.The only confusing part is the wifi link. You can scan the QR code to install a mobile app on the phone, which provides features like notification, log, remote control, etc. When I first tried to set the wifi link up, it did not work. After trying and reading the help (with the question mark in the app), I figured it might be the WiFi password. It can only contain numbers and letters (their English can use some improvements as well, quite hard to guess). After changing our home WiFi password to only contain numbers and letters, I finally set up the app successfully.I thought the WiFi would be able to make calls or send messages to my phone, but seems it requires the extra Sim card to work.Another funny thing is that those online video tutorials on the youtube are for another brand DIGOO, which looks exactly the same as this KONLEN, not sure which one is supposed to be the original, but as long as it works, I don't really care...

This system does what it suppose to do keeps your home secure no matter where you are for the money you cannot beat it

Wow, this is a great example how to create a junk product and hope that people will buy it. How do I have to start? Oh yes:<> Product Design: Nice and slick.<> Product Software:- DOS. Very hard to set up the whole alarm system.- You fill that you are back in 1985.- You have to read the "Tech Book" ( What a joke ) few times to start to kind of figured out how they design the whole thing and how to set up.- The PIECE OF RESISTANCE: Oh yes is one here. The seller in the two blue additional A/Q page mention that you have to contact him by email somewhere in China to send you the video link on how you have to set up the whole thing. Yes, what a help. What a nice guy!- Two motion sensors do not register.- In general, registering the sensors is hard and buggy.- Buggy, and after shot of power test, you have to setup/register again some sensors.<> Documentation:- Clear you can see that this is made by some unskilled vendor in unprofessional environment hoping that customers do not know better.- Very hard to read with a poor quality presentation.- They add a blue two pages with Q/A. What a mind!<> CONCLUSION:- Made by a vendor that has no clue how to present a potential product,- Unfortunately, he is not the only one.- With buggy software and crappy setup, complimented by the childish documentation,NOT WORTHED OF ASKING PRICE AND WHOLE AFTERNOON TO TRY TO MAKE IT WORK

This replaced a wired system. Very easy to install. Once joined to the Wifi network everything else connected seamlessly. Adding new accessories was also easy. I am yet to try Alexa devices.
