It not only describes all the different aspects of fashion design, it walks the reader through the steps to take along the way. Naturally, it can’t turn the reader into a seamstress or artist, yet it gives enough detail about why these skills are important and what they’re used for that I can see a young reader being inspired enough to sign up for a sewing or drawing class in order to develop them. Excellent book, well written and organized – bravo to the author! Five stars and a huge recommend for budding fashion designers!

This was perfect for my granddaughter who is 10. She is a very good artist and loves clothing. This book was illustrated appropriately and clearly. She really loves it.

Book looks the same as photo. It didn't give as much as I thought it would,but it's good for those that are beginners. Purchase for children under 12 years old that aren't professional artists.
