It certainly numbs the area
I ended up not getting a tattoo i thought I was going to get and haven’t really gotten to see the product shine in the best conditions but I did try it on my arm to see how good it numbs. You have to use a fair amount for it to do the job but I did expect that prior to trying it. The tub was much smaller than I anticipated but still an ample amount of cream.

Wow wow wow... this cream did not work at all. I would give it a negative -100 if I could. Waste of money
