I am making a baby blanket for a friend's pregnant daughter. After making the squares, you make a couple little bears with a balloon and a heart. For the things on top, it takes very little yarn. I went to Walmart to get my supplies. I was having to buy several colors, and it was just going to cost too much for no more than what i needed. So, i thought i would see what i could find on amazon and i found this. It was a GREAT find! These are smaller skeins, perfect for my project. And even extra colors for way less than what i was going to have to give. So, it was well worth the money. It is extremely soft. I am really happy with the price and with my purchase in general. I have included this picture because i was impressed with how it arrived. My text said it arrived and i went out to get it out of the mailbox, in a flat envelope. I thought there's no way all my yarn is in this envelope. It sure was. They sucked all the air right out of that bag it was in. Which i was able to lay flat in a drawer out of my way until i got all the squares for the blanket made and was ready to use these.

The yarn is nice if you’d like some variety or need something for small projects in different colors. The yarn is light, vibrant in color, good depending on the product, but I will say it does have a tendency to split on occasion. I’m a beginner and trying to learn so that didn’t bother me as much as it might someone who’s been crocheting for 30+ years. It was an okay texture, it’s acrylic. It had a hard time knotting for me but that could ver well also be more user error than anything since I’m not super experienced. Overall it’s a decent choice if you are on a budget and need a variety pack of smaller yarn, or if you’re a beginner and just trying to practice and learn and you don’t want to buy the expensive stuff.

I start off by saying the photo is a bit deceptive these are extremely small in person. The colors are in a variety of shades and some seem off. The quality is not good. It was separating just by me unraveling some to get out to use and i wasn’t even using it to knit. I was going to glue it to use as hair but upon my touching it, then it started unraveling and splitting apart in strands. The value you pay is exactly what you get and it’s not worth in my opinion for this unfortunately. I didn’t expect it to start coming apart.

I wouldn’t pay any amount of money for this set of yarn again - I actually wouldn’t even take it if it were free. It’s absolute garbage - even for beginners. Rough, thin in some places, splits constantly, overall just gross and should not be allowed to be sold.

probably not best quality but it still way better than dollar tree yarn that i usually bought as kit and turn out am run out of the yarn so thats why i order this one from amazon and did sent overnight and saved my day without waiting forever. it’s softer than dollar tree but not thick as dollar tree but it’s then out ok. in pic show this yarn on left from amazon and on right from dollar tree. am glad i got color almost exactly same what am look for.

How delightful! These are for crocheting flowers and I’m certain there will be enough because of the variety of colors at a good price.

Lots of colors and very soft. Just know that they are small skeins.

Had a good laugh at how the yarn was packaged but over all decent yarn. purchased to learn how to crochet, definitely won’t be useful for big projects.
