MA-87 Studio Condenser Microphone - Prefect for Quality Vocal Recording on a Budget

I'm blown away with the amazing quality of this microphone. From the packaging and accessories to the incredible sound it captures. I had already set up the Maono boom arm and attaching the mic was a breeze. Using it in conjunction with the Focusrite Scarlett Solo and Garageband on Mac is simple and very effective. I've used a dynamic Shure mic at approximately double the price and USB mics but this condenser mic outshines them all. For anyone thinking about setting up a home studio at a budget price, you won't get any better than this superb microphone. Highly recommended.

Good value, working brilliantly - my son loves it.

The audio is crisp and clear, the build quality is metal all around and same with the cage you get with it. It took about 3 weeks to arrive to the UK though but there is an quicker optional shipping option. Comes with a what seems a decent quality leather pouch for the mic and a foam cover for the mic and a kinda crappy xlr cable but you can't complain for the price. You could defo record some professional vocals with this. I'm a happy chap

Retains body well. The full metal body feels very high quality for a low budget mic, such as this one, the mic mount also feels very sturdy and I've had a great experience with the windscreen that it comes with. I would really recommend To buy this product too anyone who has a budget set up and is looking for quality.

I currently have a Rode NT1A and this Mic I actually like a bit better than my NT1. I have also used some cheaper condenser mics off of Temu and this mic actually has some decent looking circuit boards inside. Wish I found this mic sooner then I would have stayed away from the Temu junk as this mic is top quality and is a really great price !! Might even be getting one of there MA67, when they become available again because I was so impressed with this one !!

This sound quality of this mic is good. It is a little bright but has just enough bass to retain body and the mids are a little bit scooped.The build quality of the microphone is great. It has an all metal body and the grill of the microphone has no give to it. With a frequency response of 20 hz to 20 kilohertz and Max SPL of 135 dB and a self-noise of 15 DB (A weighted), I think this microphone is one of the best in it's class at its price point.

Usually I can find the sweet spot on most mics of high and low value. This might be a bad one from a batch of good ones but I just can’t get it to respond. No time for returns. Bottom drawer mic. I hope you get a good one if you buy.
