Q: Does it back up ram images or just jpeg? might it consider the rams as duplicates and delete them?!

Short, non technical answer, the stick shuffled, deleted and duplicated photos on both my iPad and android without prompting. It attacked photos in both gallery and google photos.

Q: Any chance we could loose our photo's

The photo stick automatically shuffles the photos and on my phone, arbitrarily deleted photos without my permission. I can't say if this happens to everyone, but it happened to me and I lost many pics. The auto shuffle was also a problem.
