The hardened carbon steel blades provide lasting sharpness and the PTFE coated upper blade makes cutting smoother. The tubular aluminium handles are strong yet light in weight and have been finished with non-slip comfortable grips.

Great cutting well and nice and comfy when using.
Had for a while now and although i only have small hedging around my place it's done really well. They had a hard time to start-with as the hedging was out of control but once the 'grade one' cut was done (had to use pruners not just the shears) it's kept the greenery nice and tidy, liking the extending handles very handy for the hard to reach 'flat top' of the hedge as it's quite wide.Good soft drips on the handles, this makes a difference when using for a long time.Shears 2 foot long when closed....open gives an extra 6 inches (these are very rough measurements).Wavy edge to blades helps to add cutting when trying to cut thicker hedges and the rubber stopper on the blades (the bit that stops you hitting your knuckles together when closing the blades) make for a much softer closing.Unlike the one pictured mine has black hammer finish on both blades (except were they cross).

Best shears I've had!
These are great shears - powerful leverage from longer handles, sharp blades, adjustable tightness, dampers to ease jarring, good grips, and strong materials used for handles and blades. The price was my kind of price which means that these are as good a buy as anything 4 times the price.

Prune your bush
Decent price, decent construction and decent size. Not used heavily but what ever I have pruned with them they have coped well. Could be slightly comfier to use. Recommended though

Loses its ability to cut after a month!
Very flimsy; the blades kept sliding over one another after a month or two resulting in bruised hands.Cheap and the quality shows; my advice is spend a bit more to get a better quality and longer lasting item.
