Great build!
After reading the reviews, I was skeptical about ordering this set but I’m so glad I ordered it anyway! I thoroughly enjoyed building this set! I have built several Lego sets which I enjoy immensely. I decided to try the mini block sets because they cost a fraction of Legos and I just wanted to try something different. This set did not disappoint although when it arrived, it didn’t come in a box so I was a little leery but that was just a small thing. The pieces are so small and there are so many, I knew I had to come up with a system. Before I started to build, I separated all like pieces and put them together in small clear cups. This helped tremendously. After that I started my build. Although the instructions are not as well laid out as Lego, I found them to be pretty good. I liked the fact that each step was colored and the previous were grayed out. This was very helpful. I kept looking for something to go wrong (from reading the reviews) but I had no issues. The only hindrance were with some pieces being so small it was sometimes hard to connect but that’s expected and it didn’t happen a lot. I was very pleased with this set and have already ordered another. This goes to show that you have to take reviews with a grain of salt. Everyone’s experience will not be the same. Sometimes you just have to take a chance and I’m glad I did! Loved it!

The first set was missing pieces. We contacted Amazon. A new set arrived the next day.
My grandson says that it was challenging and fun to put together.

Beautiful when completed but difficult
I regularly build lego, nanoblock, and other model kits. So keep that in mind for this review.Assembly: Some of these pieces were very difficult to handle. They don't 'snap' as well as Nanoblock and Lego pieces do which means that you have to add a lot of compression to get things to go together evenly. And with the tiny, tiny pieces it can really hurt your fingers. I had to take quite a few breaks just for my fingertips to recover. Now, I do appreciate how many extra pieces were included as I definitely lost one of the single block clear ones that will never be found again.Instructions: My biggest gripe is with the instructions. They are quite clear how things go together, they do not do a good job of distinguishing colors. This set has dark brown, light brown, gold, and red blocks. In the instructions the red looks orange, the dark brown looks almost black, the light brown and the gold look very, very similar. Even just a simple marking the first time the color shows up saying 'red' or 'gold' would clear up a lot of confusion. The black blocks also look dark blue in the instructions so it look some hunting through the pieces to figure out if the navy blue was supposed to be the black or the dark grey.Overall: The set comes out look very nice so overall, it's a nice set. But I would say it is much more difficult to build than more common brands so keep that in mind before purchase.
