Drawing pad for younger kids
This pad will be fine for children ages 3-6 to use for drawing with the provided stylus. The screen is black and as you draw there are rather faint lines that appear on screen that have pale colors underneath. You cannot change the colors; they just seem to fade from one to another under the black screen. The lines are not very bright or wide when using the stylus, and it does not work well when trying to draw with just your fingertip. Easy to erase everything by hitting the off button, but you cannot erase just one piece at a time. Would be a great device for using on a road trip. The batteries can be replaced, but it is not easy to remove the battery cover.

Does not light up, must use in full light
The media could not be loaded. See video. I thought it lit up. Very thin and feels like it could break easily. I got it for a special deal. I would return it if I would have paid full price. I don’t think it would keep a child’s interest for long, IMO.

Not As Bright As Shown In the Picture
My only real complaint is that the markings on these LCD boards is not as bright as shown. It looks brighter even in my own photograph than it really is. I'm not sure why that happens! I can barely see my own drawing, then I take a picture and it's super visible in the picture. Maybe it's just my eyesight?I wish the stylus were attached to the board, too. It has a spot and it fits very snugly into that spot. Almost too tight. I'm worried the kids will break it getting it out. But once it's out, it can be dropped and lost or broken. I'm going to find some sturdy thread (string will be too thick!) and attach the stylus to the board to prevent it from getting lost or dropped.I think these LCD drawing boards will be most useful in car travel. My daughter doesn't want to let her kids have crayons or markers in the car. Crayons melt and markers get all over everything except the paper the kids are supposed to be drawing on. But once the kids are all snapped into place in their carseats, they can't very well reach down and pick up something they dropped. That's why a string would be very useful. This LCD drawing tablet is 10" - which is a great size especially for younger kids. Preschoolers need the largest size your budget can manage. They need to make big marks, and lack the fine motor control to draw tiny figures. Also, drawing and reading tiny marks can cause them eyestrain. I'd love to see a 20" tablet for them! But the largest I've seen so far is 11", so this 10" one is just fine.Kids love to doodle and they can go through a lot of paper doing so. The LCD drawing tablet can save a lot of trees!

Cheap, flimsy it’s a “0”!
This is something you might see at a dollar store in the toy isle! I’m sending it back!
