LEGO CITY: Busy Word Book

I really like this book.It’s high quality material and should hold up well with use over time. The hardcover seems fairly sturdy.The visuals are top notch and look great.My son loves it because each LEGO scene is jammed packed with action from all types of LEGO City sets.Each scene has a few activities built in for the reader to find... my son loves trying to find each of the missing items in each scene.It’s also really neat that this book includes plenty of LEGO sets we’ve purchased over the years. It’s a bonus for my son to be able to read about the same LEGO set that he can play with at our home.I definitely recommend this book and think you’ll be impressed with the quality. My son loves looking through the different photo scenes in this book. That's the reason I purchased it. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and how many pages/scenes there were in the book. He looks at it regularly. However, I think the words are a little obtrusive in the pictures. Sometimes they cover the action. Even my 6-year old son has mentioned it. I think the words could have been better placed or smaller to still illustrate the vocabulary words, but not detract from the scene.

Bought this for my 5-year old. I think it’ll be great for him. Some bigger words but great LEGO pictures to help learn.4 stars because many of the pages were stuck together at the top corners.

I ordered this for my grandson who loves LEGOS. This is one of his favorite books to check out of the library. Now he’ll have his own for his birthday.

Both my three year old and my five year old love this book. It keeps our house quiet for a bit...if they’re not fighting over whose turn it is! Love it.

Lego obsessed kiddos loved doing the Look and find aspects of this book. My new reader likes identifying the label words.

My grandson got this for his birthday. He loves it!

My 5 year-old grandson likes this book. He enjoys the pictures and reading the words. He particularly likes the fact that he has some of the Lego models shown in the book, and looking for the burglar who is hidden in the pictures.

An excellent way to get the reluctant reader reading by engaging in their favourite subjects. Well worth the money. My son loves it.
