So I am using a newer Roku device along with a HDMI 2.1 cable... This gives the TV the ability to do what is known as "Auto HDR" so it can operate in 8-bit mode (normal color space) when the video on the screen isn't using 4:4:2 or greater and when the content does contain the data to support HDR and 10-bit depth it will automatically switch... I say all of that to say this, when it switches from HDR to "standard" you can see a instant 20% difference in image quality. This is most noticeable in Plex on Roku where the trailer it loads from IMDB or Youtube is in low quality and you press play and POOF you can instantly see how the colors improve. This is only visible if you're using HDMI 2.1 from start to finish. HDMI 2.0 will allow you do HDR but it won't be dynamic and it won't be at 4k. I think given the price, this is the best TV under 1k. I got the 55-inch model for just under $500 on a sale, and it fills my room great. Paired it with the B series sound bar from Samsung and feel like for <$800 I couldn't be happier.

This tv has everything I look is a beautiful picture, nice and slim. Not too heavy. Sturdy legs. And one of the best things is that it. Was delivered in perfect condition not even a mark on the box. Way to go UPS!! I love our new 55 inch tv. One thing to remember to. Samsung is plug up and play and most items you May choose to hook up with it is too. It is compatible with just about any thing on the market. The last tv we had was a Samsung that finally gave up the ghost was a plasma tv. It was approx 15 years old older at least. They r a wonderfu company! I use to sell tvs for a living. And Samsung was always a customer favorite due to the above mentioned positive points!! They r # 1 on my list! They are a dependable long lasting product!! Not a tv that lasts a year or two and you r out shopping Again!

I've had the TV for about 3 months. I tried to adjust the coloring & shading as is not right. Too dark, too orange, etc. I don't like how the apps are on the screen. They all in a straight line instead of boxed beside each other so easier to read. Even though I have input subscription of apps, doesn't show on the screen & have to search for them each time. Some I don't use & figure out how to get rid of them. When I use the microphone to find a movie or program, you have to be in the app that carries that movie or program & often still doesn't show it. Have to use the Search to find it. Frustrating & not to my liking. Would have returned it, but too much of a hassle as is a 55" & threw away all the packaging. There are better TV's to purchase rather than this one. I really don't like this TV!!!

Been using Samsung TVs for some years. Accustomed to the Tizen OS and the remote. Last year dropped all cable and satellite services so started using the Samsung TV Plus streaming. Alot of useful and garbage programing. But what the heck. It's free. So, decided to stay with Samsung. Wanted a picture quality at least the same as friends 4 year old Samsung level 7 TV. Figured this first level QLED would be better. Not really, but better than my old level 6 Samsung. But, the newer Tizen OS is annoying as heck. Way to intrusive. Every channel change this crap comes on the screen displaying what I'm watching, what I could be watching and what had been watching. Then, another thing in top right corner telling me how to use the remote for other channels. Annoying. Then, when using Pluto free streaming, the TV just stops. Black screen. No button on remote does anything. The power supply to the whole system must be rebooted. Mounting to a wall is a pain. The bolt pattern is small and a very specific bolt size must be used(not included with TV).
