Awesome Rods
Got these to Battle Some Sea beasts and some of the Huge Cats we have in the lakes and rivers here in SC. These things are pretty stout. Well made and will handle some big fish. Paired them with the Kast King Rover 60 Reels. Ready to hit the water.

Great rod!
2nd one I've bought. Have used trolling for Spanish Mackerel, have caught large cobia and 50 inch plus bull reds on these. Strong, light weight, and looks great.

Don’t think about it
This thing is a beast! I’m already thinking about picking up the 7’ medium too. This isn’t a good budget rod, This is a great all around rod to have in your collection.

Big rod with smooth guides
I received a rod that was missing a guide insert. But the exchange process was fast and simple. The second rod I received is perfect. It’s a great rod for fishing big baits or trolling for big fish. The two pieces connect securely. Currently using it with a Kastking 200 sized baitcast reel. The balance is good, even with a relatively light reel.

You’ll get what you paid for!
I bought this rod 3 months ago, and I want to try it a few times before writing any reviews. Last weekend was my 3rd time using it, and guess what? It’s broke when I got hooked with a barracuda, and the fish wasn’t that big, only 12lbs. Lucky me, I was able to bring the fish onboard. I’m so sorry that I don’t have pictures of broken rod to prove it because I left it on the boat at the end of day, and don’t even remember what happened. The reason is the rod is so cheap that I don’t even care.

Disappointed
seriously disappointed. I purchased 2 of these rods for catfish and redfish off the Texas coast. Both rods have issues, This 7.6 casting one of the eyelits popped out after casting a 3 oz weight with a chunk of mullet. I do not know if it is a quality control thing. I owe multiple kastking rods and reels and love them dearly. I purchased these rods in June, it is now September and they both are not useable.
