I love this case. The price is very reasonable for the quality of this product. It is also easy to put them on. Make sure you use the sticker on the top case, but even if you don’t, I think it’s fine because the case has a lock feature that can keep the upper and lower case intact or stick together; this is one of the things I like about this case, the small lock because it gives more security and stickiness and won’t let your earbuds scatter everywhere when you drop it by accident. The material looks durable too. It looks chic, simple, but elegant.

This was the first protective case I checked out and after reading through reviews I put it in my cart - at $8 it was worth the purchase even though there were some less than great reviews. I just purchased a new pair of Beat’s and knew that I needed a protective case, especially for dropping because the top will open and the earbuds will fly out. The lock to keep the case closed was an attractive feature but also got reviews that it didn’t work well. I am pleased to report that I had none of the issues reported in other reviews. The case is perfectly clear w/ no yellowing. I followed the directions that came with the case and had no trouble putting it on. There is an almost imperceptible lip that snaps over the sides of the lid to keep it secure and I also used the tape strip for extra reinforcement (barely perceptible). I’m not sure why people complained about no hinge because it would just be bulky extra material and there’s no need for it. The bottom portion went on easily. I made sure that the locking mechanism was facing the front of the case and lined the bottom up with the top. Remember the case is $8 so it’s not the fanciest lock, but the plastic fits together in such a way when you press it down it won’t fly open. It’s very slim lined and doesn’t add bulk to the earbud case. I don’t know if I’d use the provided clip to attach it to a belt loop or my keys - there’s a possibility it could open without you knowing it -bye bye earbuds - and there’s plenty of carabiners out there that lock more securely. I’m very pleased with my purchase and as long as you follow the simple directions to put the case on, you shouldn’t have any problems with installation. I definitely feel like my earbuds are going to be protected from my clumsy self!

Use it daily great product and sturdy case

I did have case on backwards initially. However the clasp was on upside down. I had to remove and put on correctly. However now has broken off. I honestly think I may have gotten a return cause there also was no tape for top also. The case fits fine though so continuing to use. Also I will note that they have contacted me over the item and offered to replace or refund, At this point I am fine with the case as it holds on fine without the lock. Main thing I needed is so I can latch on to a hook so serves that purpose and have upped their star rating do to their contact over the issue.

I love this little case. I am a very clumsy person. Upon buying my first pair of beats, I dropped the case 3 times, chipping it once, and I lost an earbud... in the first week. It was not a proud moment. I spent another week desperately looking for the earbud, until my husband just bought me another pair and I got this case. Here's what you should know about the case: 1) It works. If you drop your beats (which I have), no apparent damage occurs to the case, and it STAYS SHUT. Which is awesome, because it sucks when you lose an earbud. 2) you have to be intentional about closing the clasp. But as long as you make sure to press it closed with your finger, it's fine. It does NOT take a lot of force (a simple tap does it). It stays shut, and the case works. 3) It comes with a cool key ring. The key ring comes unattached to the case. It is easy to attach, but you have the option of leaving it off. Additionally, it is hinged. So, no breaking nails every time I want to clip/unclip it to my purse. If you know you know. Maybe you prefer no ring, or maybe you already have a cooler ring or strap you can attach at home (the attachment hole is large enough most things can fit, but not obnoxiously large, as you can see on the left side of the top case in my photo). 4) the adhesive strips they come with do nothing. But you don't really need them, so it's fine. 5) It's easy to take off WHEN you're intentional about it. My beats have never come out of the case on accident. As you can see in my photo, I found my original pair of beats. After which, I promptly bought a second case. Now I alternate. At lease I always have a charged pair of earbuds haha. The bottom is the black glitter option. The top is the clear glitter option. My beats are "sunset pink" color. I've used a wet erase marker "tackie marker" to write on the case. It does come off with a lightly damp paper towel but does not smudge in the slightest with my finger. I consider this a second, added benefit to this product. I can draw whatever I want on the case (as long as I'm careful not to get the actual beats wet). For now, I've simply marked them "1" and "2" so that I know which pair to connect to when I'm using them. The possibilities, however, are limitless.

Description had me thinking I was going to get actual beat buds not just a case cover! Please change description and be more clear so mistakes like this are avoided in the future!

Fits Beats Studio Buds + great. Easy to get on and seems to stay on very well, even without adhesive on top part (if it seems like it slips off the top too easily, push the top part of the case down with a little bit of force while Beats case is open). Doesn’t slip off easily on accident but easy enough to get off when trying to in order to clean thanks to the little bit of flexibility. I like the keychain so I can clip it to my belt loop while it’s in my pocket. It does make the case a bit bulkier (not too much bulkier, thankfully) but worth it to prevent scuffs on actual Beats case. For less than $10 this is a great case.
