These are Awesome. I trim the hedges at our church, in memory of our son. Wired trimmers was such a hassle. So I got these for convenience. Also, there is one bush 7 foot high. So the pole attachment is great. They are pretty heavy. That said they work Great and are perfect for my needs. Battery life is quite good. I’d guess I easily get close to an hour use out of a charge. I greatly appreciate having these trimmers

The actual product is as advertised. I really need to use it a bit more to provide a realistic opinion, but at first hand, the unit seems heavy and not easy to maneuver if you are trimming an elevated bush.

Design is fine, but the batteries (I bought an extra one) wore out and GARCARE does not provide replacements. There do not appear to be any aftermarket alternatives. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT OR THE UPGRADED NEWER VERSION. These are junk tools.

A little heavy after 15 to 20 minutes. But is so nice to not need my big ladder.

Stupid tool will not die! Trimmed the tops out of 16 trees at 9 ft and was just as good on the last as on the first.Love this tool, best money spent.

It works great. Gets tops of shrubs easily. A little heavy with the extension but I like the cutter far away so I don't have accidents. Battery power cuts thew thick branches! Ration is a great option. Love it. I actually wish I got to use it more often. Its fun to use.

This product is only built for very light duty use. I used it twice over a 2 day period and the battery would only last about 30 minutes or less before having to be charged again. I did not even get the pole trimming attachment out of the box. The hedge attachment would only cut small shrub branches. I don't think it would touch trimming anything that you would need to reach with the pole attachment. For the light duty use, it is rather heavy. I've used other battery operated trimmers that were much better and lighter. I bought this one for the pole attachment but I don't see that being of any value with the light duty use.UPDATE -- tried to use this trimmer again today and the 2 button safety switch has already failed. 3 use. I tried to look up the warrant per Amazon's instructions and that points you to the manufacturer. I cannot find any manufacturer website for Garcare. I would stay away from this product and this brand/manufacturer

Received the trimmer in a timely manner. I charged the battery, assembled the various pieces and started trimming a 8 ft tree. I really liked the ability to adjust the blade angle and tilt. The trimmer made short work of the cutting without any problem. Pros: Easy to assemble/disassemble, Long reach with great cutting action. Long blade for fast cutting. Battery life more than adequate. Cons: Heavy when fully extended. I'm a healthy, fit 75 yr male and after trimming two trees and two large bushes, I had to stop and take a nap:) The trimmer blades make a noise as it the blades are sometimes hitting each other instead of bypassing each other so long term durability may or may not be an issue. So far I'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to my friends.
