Gives detailed information about the various chronometer makers and other interesting historical material too.Though specific in content it is of great interest to anyone involved in horology and especially if they like Marine chronometers when it becomes a necessity on their bookshelf.

A must if you collect marine chronometers an particular if your interrest is Mercer chronometers. Not long time ago a mercer chronometer from the 1950 was sold for (previous own by George Daniels) about £ 4500 !!!

I did not expect a list as such- i had hoped for a description of individual makers and their chronometers. That being said it does have quite a lot of information about the history of and use of chronometers, but the title does not indicate that.
