Key Fob Remote fits Honda Accord / Acura TL 1998 1999 2000 2001 2002 (KOBUTAH2T), Set of 2

Took a couple fo tries but it worked! I was doing it wrong. Watched a youtube video - it helped.

The directions they come with about turning the key and clicking lock several times do not work. I had to get a locksmith to program them. However, they are good remotes; good quality, work from at least a hundred feet away and sustain drops.

Good customer service. Got replacement the next day. I order two, One was dead on arrival. The other had week battery. Remote was easy to program. Easy to program and online instruction was more accurate then some YouTube video.

I bought these replacements when my original started working intermittently and they were easy to program myself. They seem a little less quality than the original or replacements that the dealers sell but in the long run, it doesn’t matter. They work and so far no problems.

Came with no instructions. But easy enough just looked it up on YouTube. Only problem is that both remotes would not stay programmed. The LED red light was very weak so we bought both new batteries but still same problem. Will be returning them. What a disappointment and waste of time.

This remote will only work for 1998 to 2002 SE and EX models in this date range. It will not work for the LX and DX models. The SE and EX models came with the keyless entry system, meaning the receiver unit, installed at the factory. The LX and DX models did not come with the receiver unit installed — it was a dealer-installed option for I believe $400 at the time which was rather pricey in 1999 for example.If you have a DX or LX with the dealer-installed keyless entry system, your remotes are different than this remote. This remote has an FCC ID of KOBUTAH2T. The dealer installed systems for the LX and DX have a remote FCC ID of A269ZUA101. The FCC ID is important when you are trying to reprogram replacement remotes. If you don't have a remote with the proper FCC ID that matches your vehicle's system, it will not enter programming mode. Unfortunately, because so few people who purchased the 6th Gen LX or DX models opted for the dealer-installed keyless entry system, there are not that many replacement remotes available.As it turns out, my 1999 Honda Accord LX I just recently purchased doesn't have the dealer-installed keyless entry. It took me quite a bit of research to figure this all out. I assumed it had keyless entry and the previous owner had just lost the remotes. I had to return this item because I was misinformed. It indicated my vehicle is a fit and it is not. I suspect this is why some people cannot get it to program for them — because they have an LX or a DX.If anyone has any idea where I can locate a dealer-installed receiver unit for the 1999 Accord LX, I would greatly appreciate it. I've been searching high and low but no luck so far.

The range on these keyfobs is better than the oem and another aftermarket brand I tried. I highly recommend these !

My old key fob stopped working, and the autoshop said they were no longer able to order them as they were discontinued. Found these and they were able to program them in less than 5 minutes. Work like originals.

Funciona muy bien 100% recomendable. Tengo un Accord 2000 2.3. Y funciona todo, seguros, cajuela y Panic.Es fácil de programar, solo tienes que poner la llave en la posision I y luego II y presionar el boton de cerrar seguros en el control. Esto lo repites 4 veces y listo.Ojo, para que funcionen los dos controles tienes que presionar los botones de ambos al programarlo.

I've waited for 15days to received the items but it Doesn't work. So disappointed...

Arrived on schedule, easy to program to the car (no dealer visit required). Unfortunately the trunk release feature does not work on the remote. (The car's trunk release works properly... just can't get the button on the remote to activate the trunk release) Lock and Unlock on the remote work properly, no issues with them.
