Compression
They provide the proper compression and don't roll down, they stay in place. The color is a nice neutral shade.

hose that FIT!
In all my experience with compression stockings, "knee high" has always meant "too long and uncomfortably bunched right under the knee." Finally, these actually deliver on being the appropriate length! If you've experienced that problem, then you know how great it was to discover these. They're not the fashion/patterned stockings I'm seeing a lot of, but I really need something with serious durability and compression-- these have it. I'm very impressed with how well they've held up, in terms of not losing elasticity or just plain getting saggy.I like that they have a clearly-visible heel, which makes putting them on a lot easier. They are definitely beige and unlikely to be mistaken for regular hose. That said, I often wear them under tights with no problem. If you're new to compression stockings, be aware that they can be uncomfortable in hot weather (but they wouldn't be doing their job if they weren't).I have mild to moderate edema (varies) and related problems. These are a necessary part of my home care toolbox.

Good but not long lasting
These are excellent with firm pressure and are the better than Futuro and Sygvaris brands at first. But after about two months, they lose so much elasticity that they no longer compress as well. Futuro is the best for a long lasting product: about 10-12 months per pair, and cheaper too. This brand has a nice texture and a wide band at toe level, both good features. My calves are 14 inches and these fit perfectly.

Definitely recommend
Great relief for varicose veins during pregnancy. I started wearing compression socks on the daily circa week 25, it became clear my legs would just hurt constantly unless I did that. At first I was busting out athletic compression socks that I already owned from running. My mom recommended this brand (thanks for the rec and for the veins, Mom!) and it works way better than the running socks. Immediate relief, doesn't leave lines on my calves, can wear comfortably all day. Plus I can wear these under tights without it being obvious.Highly recommend.

Sizing matters
Snug once on but very hard to put on. They are also a little long. I had creases at the ankle and the tops went past the bend in my knee so I had to readjust them during the day and still had a couple of large uncomfortable indentations after a long day at work. I have to pull the toe out to get rid of the ankle creases which causes me to have a lump under my toes when walking. I'm 5.4 but need the full calf size. I bought two pair so I'm going to return one and get a pair that's got lighter support and see how that goes. I wish size Medium came with full calf sizing.

Just what the doctor ordered!
Broke my ankle and a few months ago, and even though the bones have healed, I still have quite a bit of swelling. If I put the Jobst knee high on first thing in the morning, it keeps the swelling to a minimum. These really are very supportive. They are a bit difficult to get on, especially if you have arthritic hands, but well worth the effort! These are very well made and the fit was true to size.
