Surprisingly good for the price
I bought these as range ear pro, wanted some coms capable electronic ear pro without braking the bank, seems like all the duty quality stuff starts around $600 and goes sky high. At this price point this set offers a suprising ammount of flexibility in one package. Just as electronic ear pro they are acceptable and on par with the sordin ear pro I used in the military 10+ years ago, I would hope the new sordin/ safariland ear pro are both of better sound quality than in the past but this quality of electronics worked in the past and is still acceptable today maybe not the most cutting edge and by no means the best but at the price point I believe they are acceptable. Electronics do everything they should so far, dim down loud noises from shooting and is either neutral or enhanced sound, winds noise is not any worse than older top quality electronic ear pro. Conversations are clear and natural no echoing or any weird cutting in and out. Quality So far they are holding up acceptably but by no means duty level. The o rings on the battery caps look like they don’t do anything and I will replace them with proper useful o rings. and the ear pads were ok for short range time, replaced the pads with noisefighters gel ear pads with glasses shelf and that has turned them into a genuinely comfortable all day long set of ear pro. Bought a pad for the top was not needed and came off within 5min, they are very comfortable without any added top pads. Overall I would not take them to war, they have no history of quality or any real testing, but as range ear pro or a dedicated range helmet setup they are a pretty easy choice. Battery life so far is about 40 hours and they do automatically shut off at 4 hours. Coms has not been tested at this time so have no review to give on that aspect. At the price point for pure ear pro I’d still stick with the sordin which can be had at around this price point if you can wait for a sale but the moment you want coms I don’t think they can be beat.

Absolutely loving it
Feels great, super comfortable, no more headache like when I used walkers and 3m.. fits great and helps a lot with helmet security and stability to your head. Noise reduction is also great and have no problem shooting live rounds with this. Transparency mode is unbelievably well constructed..feels like AirPod pros that i have except that this one cancels out noise. —Update: Went to FTX under heavy rain, and this worked great through rain and dust..shot a bunch down range from 9mm to 556 and works perfectly fine. No issue with battery. 11 out of 10.

Average
So they work well at a live fire range, comes are clear with radio as well. They fit fine, the ballistic helmet adaptations work well but sometimes slam your ear muffs hard against your ears so you have to move them carefully. Also, it's supposed to power off after 4hrs...mine does not at all. It just drains batteries when in storage so I've learned to take them out after a range day. Would give 4 or maybe 5 stars I'd the power down feature actually worked. Had them for 3 months so far, tested with reg batteries and rechargeable, with and without radio, on helmet and off. These seem more like 150$ hearing pro at most. I wouldn't buy these again simply because I don't like the slamming on the ear now the failing power off feature.

Great ear protection at a great price
If you don't have $1500.00 sitting around to burn on the real ops core this is a great option. The springs on the arms keep the perfect amount of pressure on the ear cups. The articulation of the arms allow the ear protection to be fitted comfortably right over the ear. The hearing protection is on par with my expensive sordins. I love how all of the parts for radio integration are included. The plastic seems durable and all of the connections are either click or screw in. I am very happy with the quality of this set. The radio incoming and outgoing is clear as a bell. I have ordered the silicone ear cups to provide more comfort and better sealing. I cannot say enough good things about this headset. These arms are awesome and allow you to have it on your ear, off your ear, and resting on the back of the helmet.

Great Customer Service
Update - 06/01/24 I reached out to the manufacturer, and they were very good, and sent me a full replacement of the headset. Its nice to have good customer service, as it seems more and more companys dont have that anymore. The replacement headset works great, and I have no complaints. :) Cheers to a great company and product! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I purchased this headset ahead of attending a Milsim West event, thinking that this nice $200 active ear pro would be far superior to the $80 active ear pro that other people use. Nope, the value is worse on this. Initially the quality seems good, and I was excited to be running this headset. I think if I were by myself, indoors, with no "stress" on the ear amp system, its fine. But running around outside at an airsoft milsim event adds too much stress on the system, such as: other people talking, wind, and blank round gunfire going off. The wind seemed to really cause the system to produce too much static noise as it was deciding what to buffer, and what to allow though. So when listening to my team talk, I was listening through static. But it wasnt too bad initially, until the right side amp decided to just stop working completely. My guess is the unit that controls the decision of what sounds to allow through the headset, vs block cant handle repeated/constant incoming noise, and either the programming cant keep up, or the hardware cant keep up. After the right ear amp finally quit, the menu tree actually changed, which confirmed to me something was very wrong with my headset. The "minimum volume" alert which is triggered when you bring the volume down to the bottom was suddenly changed with "outdoor mode", and outdoor/indoor mode (quickly clicking both up and down volumne once) completly stopped working, and the unit lanugage got stuck on Chinese. I tried to change the language back to English (long click both up and down vol once) and that did nothing. I did change batteries, to rule out some low battery issue. Side note - The battery usage was actually super good though. After removing batteries, I held down the buttons to drain any excess energy in capacitors, and put the batteries back in, the unit actually started working again for about 2 hours, then went back to the right ear amp failing. I asked others what they were doing, and they all use like $80 units for a year or two before they break. I can do that - I dont mind spending $80 a year or every 2 years, but for $200 I wanted something better than not lasting a single event. Otherwise, the quality is actually super good. The mic was good, the length of cable for radio headset was good, the clarity of the radio coming into the mic was good, the feeling of the cups on my ears was good, and the 360 degree noise pick-up was awesome. I could tell when someone was behind or next to me very well. I emailed the company, and if they respond positively, I will update my review.

When installing batteries !!!
Great headsets but, when you install your O rings beneath threading of battery compartments, please place caps on very tight and you’ll power up with no problems. If you lightly tighten battery housing caps, it won’t make contact and you’ll think you have a defective headset Other than that they’re fine and actually clear and reliable enough for real service scenarios You need to hear clearly, be head clearly and have protection from concussions from munitions and these work very well for that and at a fraction of Gentex Opscore Nice nice knock off actually and well made 👍🏼

Defective unit
I do have to say they seem nice, if they only worked. As you can see it has no damage to the headset. Got the head set in, and tried multiple sets of batteries. Unit won’t even power on. I have emailed the seller we will update after that.

Good
Set up was easy, you can definitely tell it’s a cheaper product. once putting them on static noise isn’t that bad, headset does work no issues. I will have to test them and update though. Sturdy, fitment is fine, batteries will be batteries I don’t blame them for using up batteries just carry extra.. I will be using these on a deployment
