The Big Bang Theory: Season 7

knock knock knock Penny knock knock knock Penny knock knock knock Penny
Hey you guys!! We've only seen the first 3 episodes of Season 7 and you're already reviewing the whole season?? You should be ashamed of yourselves...I'm going to sic Sheldon on you for corporal punishment. No...wait...you'd like that. Well, no "Soft Kitty" for you then. Now go play rock-paper-scissors-lizard-Spock or D&D and wait for the season cliffhanger.Seriously, I caught the very first episode despite the stupid ad campaign about the nerds finally "getting the pretty chick," the stereotypical dumb blonde at that. I fell in love instantly. There's a reason Jim Parsons won his 3rd Emmy of just 6 seasons: he's hilarious. Sheldon could SO easily have gone the other way, being too mean-spirited and arrogant to like while the other characters just rotate around him, frustrated and sad. But he gets put in his place...no, not his spot...enough to keep a lid on. His comedic timing is unparalleled. Howard used to be my least favorite character but he's really grown on me. I was happy to read that in real life Kunal Nayyar, Raj, has married a beautiful woman in an enormous traditional wedding in India; it takes the edge off feeling sorry for him that he can only attract girls like poor Lucy. Mayim Bialik, Amy, is really a neurobiologist. I love seeing Kaley Cuoco on TV commercials with Captain Kirk...er William Shatner...or as a wish-granting genie. And hosting the awards shows. I love seeing Johnny Galecki's old cast-mates from Roseanne on the show; Laurie Metcalf is a hoot (as she would say) as Sheldon's mom. (The only character I dislike is Leonard's mom played by Christine Baranski...but you can't have everything.)My husband, son and I "Big Bangalize" every Thursday. We throw in a pizza and I record the show on DVR. At 7:15 we eat and start watching so we can skip the commercials (sorry CBS). My son just went to college and he's got his dorm-mates watching it to carry on the tradition. The cast couldn't have the perfect timing it does but for the good direction and writing...ah...the good writing. There are very few throw-away scenes and I like that the show flows as well as Friends did with 2 or 3 story arcs involving 2-4 characters in each episode. So one plotline never drags down any episode. Of course, like Friends, the best scenes are when all 6 are together. Guest stars involving Star Trek: Levar Burton, Will Wheaton, Brent Spiner, Leonard Nimoy's voice; Stephen Hawking; Stan Lee; Howie Mandel. I just sorta hope they never really show Mrs. Wolowitz.Everybody started reviewing Season 6 before it was released as well so you got to see no discussion of the special features. I just pre-ordered Season 7 and will revise this review once I've seen the special features. The 1st and 2nd seasons' were fairly lame. They perked up in Seasons 3-5 and on the first disc of Season 6, they got into Howard's space odyssey with real astronaut Mike Massimono as well as speaking directly with a current astronaut on the space station. Did you hear they had a drawing to send a fan of the show into space? (Assuming NASA is back in business by then.)I could go on and on about this top-notch comedy but I don't want to belabor Sheldon-like OCD.Just watch it.TRIVIA: what is Penny's last name?Answer in Comment below.

BB THEoRY To go where no show could ever go B fore!! Don't Qoute me on it, his mom had him tested!
Big Laughs!! Just get it, & the other Seasons too. That is if you Love to laugh. The Characters are so enduring even when they do horrible things & say such nutty things we can't help but derive pleasure from their precious Human qualities. Even tho Sheldon Cooper would Agree to disagree with that statement, literally. Literally? It's Howard... Wow, It sure is buddy! & No it's not! & you can learn allot about a cat in a box, & no I don't mean literally. This set is so much fun, tho Rajj is a wreck his relationships can be understood by those that are so broken we know we may never identify with the others the way we do his true afflictions & the fear of being alone so in touch with ironically many who don't realize they're not alone on this Orb we all loose touch on. ?With wide spread techno advancement it's a wonder we get to know anyone at all?But shows like BB Theory make sense of our affliction of mistrust & make light of an other wise bleak future so enjoy the utter silliness of Sheldons philosophical rants!! Or the cute way Amy accepts his utter nonsensenical nuances & mental disarming with complete patients & devotion bordering on the total uber-surd!!Or the others need for validation & understanding also boardering on insane notions of what being a couple is really about. They learn over time that selfishness or greed don't make for a two way street.& that is a rarity for all relationships that we're not dif from one another we just need to be more giving of our ears & time.BB Th is just a fun head teaser. When you watch & invest your time to this brilliant Tour of space between your ears you will understand why the cast & amazing crew is the Force to be reckoned with. & lotsa Treck as well as fun guest Star appearances from Stan Lee to Will Wheaten Beloved Bob Newhart Katey Sacoff Brent Spiner among other loved presences...Which makes the show even more incredible & yet so improbable we are with the story lines that are so cleverally woven as we comptemplate the next rube that B The rub Bazinga! BAM!--BB TH Zazzzzy!! We're only Human Completely Faulty Confounding & Funny you make fun of that but you would B improbable cause we exist. Play panty pinita & don't Tweet me over it...

Lightning in a Bottle
This show is so dang funny! While I feel it has lost some of the magic it had in its first season, it has taken on a new dimension of character development that is awesome to watch. As each character grows and new characters are introduced, the show evolves, just like we do in life. All of the actors are tremendous, and their chemistry is that "lightning in a bottle" combination they talk about in show business. Add this to the writing, and you've got me laughing more than I have since Friends. In Season 7, the characters I have come to care about so much continue in their antics, their drama, their... dare I say it...sarcasm and I can watch these episodes again and again. Some of the lines have become jokes in our family. "Oh, gravity, you are a heartless b****." And I have to admit, when Sheldon finally has his moment with Amy, I felt my stomach flip inside and my breath catch, like you do when you really feel something real. Now that's saying something! If you are already a fan, you won't be disappointed. If you haven't seen this yet, what in the world are you waiting for? Grab yourself some lightning and pull up a chair!

Questo è solo uno dei tanti DVD di TBBT che compro e sono tutti regali. È arrivato in buonissime condizioni ed è stato molto apprezzato

The characters you know and love, doing what you know and love.
Shows like TBBTsometimes settle into a pattern, becoming less edgy and rather predictable. Previous TV shows that made it through the first five or six seasons did well, only to become, well, boring. To some extent, the plots and twists withint TBBT did much the same in earlier seasons, and, to a little degree, in the seventh. But that doesn't mean the show isn't fun to watch, funny, and entertaining. There's only so much you can do with the premise, the characters, and the nature of the characters themselves. Sure, there's a few minor plot twists: Sheldon wrestling with his choices, Leonard wrestling with his commitment to Penny (and vice versa), Howard and his mother, and Raj's perpetual metrosexual nature yet desire to be a boy toy. More so than the last season, I found season seven to be entertaining and fun.TBBT has reached the point where all of its shows are in repeats and syndication, so any of these episodes can be seen several times a year (sometimes several times a week for earlier seasons), so why buy the DVDs? Like many, I prefer to do marathons of these episodes, watching three or four in a row before taking a break, and the lack of commercials always helps. The quality of the show production always has been high, and stays that way. There's nothing to distract in this release, either, and most people will really enjoy the familiarity of the series and its characters. Perhaps that familiarity is the problem, though. While TBBT will go on for several more years, I hope they can add some nice twists to the plot in the coming seasons.
